When it comes to getting a good price for accommodation, Israel is a difficult place to cope with. This guest house certainly is no exemption from this rule but rather a very good proof for this thesis. The guest house owner doesn't give you the price quoted on its website and even pretends the price of $20 for a dorm...

The owner, Walid, is great. Very friendly and helpful. He helped us get parking across the street. The place is easy to reach but parking can be challenging. The location is superb. The hostel is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is not included but can be purchased for 25NIS.

If you enjoy walking into a smoke filled lobby, and being yelled at by owner. This is your place to stay. Though the hostel is not label smoke free, the owner assured me it was. When I asked for a refund upon walking into lobby, he yelled at casher go ahead and charge them, as I turned to leave and...

Stayed here for one night in January 2016. Room was warm, clean and had all amenities (including hot water). Manager was very helpful and accomodating. Great location next to the Old City and parking available. (from Sydney, Australia)

Hey, I am a solo traveler and was on a 7 week trip thru Egypt, Jordan, Israel, and Turkey. This is a real nice place! The room was clean and pretty modern. I rate it much better than most of the reviews and buddy, I travel budget. Walid, the owner is a nice man, and the family lives there separately....

The owner - very friendly and so is his wife and granddaughters that help along. Breakfast, that was an additional cost, was OK. nothing to write home about. The room......

No luxury here but great location and tasty breakfast - the hotel is outdated but clean and it was good for what we needed it for - a 2 day in Akko. Good price and easy walk from the hotel to anywhere we desired! Dont miss out on the excellent fish restaraunts around for dinner!

We were AT the hotel 15 years ago. What we Could remember it was clean, not noisy and very good place to stay. In 15 years the owner didn't renovate the hotel until the night we arrived. At that night he started drilling ed. Hope the renovation is finished when the next guest are coming. Greeting from holland

We loved our time in acco and they were very nice owners. The breakfast was delicious and the place had a nice atmosphere. Very close to everything including the port and marketplace. I would recommend visiting the knights hall and templer tunnel.

Friendly owner, gave me a discount on the Booking.com quoted price. As a solo traveller it was OK for me but I would not bring my wife here. The rooms are very out of date and need serious upgrading. The plus side was a free car parking space and being very central.
