Set in verdant grounds around 20 mins walk from the village of Moni, in a quiet, isolated location. Nice but not brilliant rooms, airy mosquito nets around beds, basic clean bathroom, decent food in the restaurant - may have a bit of wait mind! Decent place to stay in Moni for Kelimutu lakes.

We had the best guiding services from the crew at the Eco-Lodge. Patrise was a great guide for birds, translating with the weavers, and sharing the volcano lakes and the beautiful jungle trails! Pang drove so safely and to places for textiles that were literally not roads! The lodge staff were friendly and prompt! We loved Flores and recommend the...

We ended our time in Indonesia with a beautiful stay in the Kelimutu Ecolodge. From the time we arrived, the manager of the lodge, Ben, made sure we were comfortable and happy at all times. We appreciated the time he took to get to know us at dinner and how much of an effort be made to get to know...

We made a reservation originally for 3 people (for one room). Then we realised the driver had to stay overnight and rang them. They then gave us two rooms. When we arrived after dark they told us there was a special place to sleep for drivers so we asked him to sleep there and he was okay with that as...

One night stay here as most people do for the Kelimutu trekking. The restaurant is overprised and inflexible. Much better selection in Moni village 1 km away. Ask for the rooms in the top of the garden as they have better views. Bevare of lot of mosquitos.

Your comments re our price and being okay are of interest to us. However we doubt whether you would get such a beautiful location and such a lodge anywhere in the world at such a cheap price. We agree there are cheaper reddtuarants in Moni but none have this location. Thank you for staying with us

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights to view the crater and rewind for the last few days of our holiday. The price was considerably more that what we had been paying for in other places throughout Indonesia, and I'm undecided as to if it really warranted it. The room was okay, but had a lot of ants...

Great value for money and amazing service from Ben and his team. The property is slightly old but they have kept it up so well and it is certainly the best option for staying in the lovely village of Moni. The food was delicious (esp compared to what we had experienced traveling through Flores) but just your standard Nasi Goreng,...

Thank you for comments about your stay at the Kelimutu Crater Lakes Eco Lodge. The lodge has been built in two phases in 2010 (the first cottages and the main building and in 2015 in the back cottages and Meeting Room. Thank you for your comments. We purposely do not have TV in rooms as most guests come to enjoy the area and actually do not want TV or to be disturbed by others with TV. We can import TVs for special occasions. Thank you for your support

The grounds and the lodge are attractive and there is a river rushing by the edge. There is hot water but the bathroom is tiny. There is no air conditioning but the mountain air is pleasant enough.
