The bedroom is quite large, clean and comfortable. This hotel usually provides tamarillo juice as welcome drink. The hotel has outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast is available, but the menu is not varied. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. Wifi is available, but the internet connection is a bit slow. The atmosphere in the hotel is quite, so it is...

Jangga House is in a quiet housing area to the west of central Medan. Room is a good size, clean and overlooking the small swimming pool. It has TV, fridge, sofa, and a comortable bed. Service is generally very good and food from the menu is excellent. Prices are very good and no coro. However, this being Indonesia, there is...

Stayed one night only and it's just ok. The room is just good enough for one or two nights stay. The staff is helpful but need more training for their product knowledge. The hotel need refurbish soon because it is getting older and dirty. It has a small restaurant but not too many choices for the food. Reasonable price for...

Stayed here 2 nights while visiting friends nearby. This is a very nice budget hotel. Rooms were clean beds in reasonably good shape though a tad old (mattress). The staff were helpful and friendly. The only small problem was in making reservations via agoda.com. Guaranteeing the reservation via credit card was unworkable so I had to have my friend come...

stayed recently for 2 nights.. ++ cheap, ++ staff oke, ++ there is a pool.. ++ breakfast very simple, if you're not on vacation, it's ok.. 3 variation of warm food, toast bread w/ 1 jam and chocolate sprinkles, 2 variation of fruit, tea & coffee (for my taste, not very good) -- extra bed = only a matress on...

Jangga House is quiet and well run, relatively clean, one of the best of the mid-range hotels in Medan. The kitchen is reasonably good and makes delicious juices; breakfast is varied and sometimes quite good. The staff at the front desk is polite, attentive and helpful. The hotel is located in Medan Baru on a small street that not all...

This was a nice place to be based in Medan. Quiet at night and surrounded by safe streets to walk. I will come back here. I enjoyed the breakfast and the pool seems very nice. The WiFi was not very fast but adequate and FREE! The staff is attentive to needs

Hotel is in a nice quiet area though there isn't too much within walking distance; the staff was lovely and very helpful for organizing taxi's, etc. Swimming pool is very refreshing especially in the Medan heat. Rooms have AC [we chose a deluxe room] and the showers have great hot water which was indulgent after a few days in the...

There isn't much within walking distance. The pool is well kept but no view. Meals were ok. Staff was nice and professional. Internet didn't work anywhere in the hotel for 2 full days. This was a big MINUS for me. Considering the price of the rooms there are probably better options in more convenient locations of Medan.

Our Habitat for Humanity group stayed here for a week. On the positive, the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but there isn't much (other than a convenience store) within walking distance. The pool is well kept and most meals were pretty decent. Staff were very professional and patient despite lot of my students being demanding and impolite at times....

“There are no non-smoking rooms, so non-smokers will always have to contend with that in this hotel.”

“If you want non-smoking - look for another place At breakfast - ask/tell them the night before. Ask at breakfast, they will make you and omlet etc. Sausage I ask for was either sawdust or vegiterian. If you want English TV, I was told you have to get Suite Room. SO go else where.”
