Stayed as a group of 16 when the hotel was not too busy. The hotel had a very clean natural feel and with so much open to the air, was extreemly relaxing. The food was vary varied in main choices; with many additionals out at every meal. Some items being cooked to order and even brought to your table. The...

I stayed here for a week with my partner as a base for diving around Bunaken island. We enjoyed the garden bungalow right in front of the mangrove trees, no complaints whatsoever, the food is good, service is great and we love the garden settings. Some reviewers mention "issues" but if you are familiar with traveling in Indonesiai you will...

Very comfortable and a perfect place for get away from city life. Beautiful landscaping and a big place to wonder around. More than perfect Thalassa Dive Center. Everything well taken care of. This is a perfect place to relax and diving. Buffet is just alright and a hotel live band to entertain you at night.

me and husband, we moved to this hotel, after staying 3 days in bunaken, because my husband need air conditioning room, and such place is very rare and expensive in bunaken. if you are a night life or party lover, this hotel is not recommended. but if you like serene, contemplating atmosphere, easy access to bunaken island for snorkeling/diving, wide...

This is marked as a 4 star hotel but this is 4 star for Indonesia, not 4 star for Europe. The staff are friendly, the location is great and the pool couldn't be faulted but there were too many silly things that were not up to standard. They are not good at communicating where meals will be served, there was...

We went to Santika with my wife's family over New Year. We had 4 children between 0 and 7. The pool was great and we spent most of the time there. I also tried the diving through the on site dive centre which was also awesome. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel was mediocre at best. The collection from the...

I spent a couple of days here before going to Lembeh, and actually left a day earlier than originally planned. A really soulless place, though decent pool. It was largely empty, and had a rather ghost town atmosphere. Staff were pleasant and friendly and room was ok ,but I would not stay here again.

We picked this hotel because Lonely Planet mentioned that it had luxurious rooms. We paid over $100 for our Premier room and this is what we got. Mold on the walls, Mold in the bathroom: around the rim of the sink, in the bathtub in the grout on the tiled floor. The mold was black and thick and hard to...

I was working in Indonesia for a couple months and took a week off at the end of the project and spent it over there in Indo. Some other expats told me to go to Manado as there was some of the best diving in the world there. I had always wanted to learn so I found Santika on the...
