I stayed for two days before transfer to a liveaboard for a 12 day dive trip. The resort is nice, but not enough to justify the rates. I did not get to try the diving, so I cant comment on the operation at the resort. I did try the spa and can say the massage I received was the best...

the property is beautiful - set between the sea and the rainforests about 90 mins drive from Manado airport, in the Minahasa highlands. the sea facing cottages are the best, but unfortunately they were not available when we booked, and we stayed in a "garden view" room which is not too bad by itself - though the sea facing cottages...

....................in all respects. It was well worth the 30+ hours travel time it took us from Texas! Small, intimate resort with extremely friendly (but not intrusive) staff. Top class accommodation and food (oh, those extra lbs!) We went purely for the diving so didn't do any tours. The diving, however, was stupendous, everything and more I was hoping for. I...

We chose Minahasa based on an agents recommendation that they offered fantastic Sulawesi dive options. We were not prepared for lovely spacious rooms, excellent food, gracious staff and an amazing spa. The infinity pool and lovely grounds were a welcome retreat. We would return in a moment.

Don't expect tourism, don't expect giftshops, souvenirs (yes a little one at the resort), our a nightlife. You are almost in the middle of nowhere.. Right in the nature! It's beautifull!! The lake inside the resort is full of those little fishes who spit flies from the divingbotes, you soo lots of gekkos, maybe snakes etc. The shower is made...

My wife and I love scuba diving and have spent our diving vacation in South Thailand (Sarojin - Kao Lak/Similan and Pimalai - Koh Lanta), North East/West Bali (Alam Anda and Matahari), Seychelles (Lemuria and Sainte Anne) and Vietnam (Evason Hideaway – Nha Trang). Since we have had lately gotten into underwater photography, we were looking for different diving experience....

We stayed here in September 2007 and had an amazing holiday. The resort is very quiet and only has 10 - 15 rooms. At times, we were the only guests in the resort on a particular day, so we had the pool, bar and restaurant all to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and attentive, but without being at all...
