Detailed Reviews
The room is really comfy, everything worked fine and looks new. even though the room is small for the standard room size so in my opinion it is suitable for 1 person and it is just right. Keep going maintain the quality 👍

Tried it based on someone experience. Its okay place for the price they charged. Quite clean and proffesional, we were not sure before because we had to drive through small street but we suprised to see such big building inside the area.

I tried this before based on the website, we flew from Singapore and they arranged some sort of airport pick-up. It was cheaper than what we thought, we were there for our exhibition and they were able to give help with our machinery accomodation. Breakfast is quite okay, but we had to tell them to change the menu because it almost the same everyday. Then they change it on the last day, it was traditional indonesia rice .. forgot what it called. Overall based on the price, it was very nice lah.

Cozy little place. Nice & clean rooms. Very limited menu for breakfast though. Front office - very helpful. Laundry - excellent. For such a fair price, this place is Highly recommended.

It's one of the cheapest hotels I've ever been to. The staff are all very friendly, gentle and helpful. The place is really clean and pleasing to the eye for the kind of money you pay so this place is really value-for-money. They took pride to beautify the hotel compound with interesting decor. However, you need to have a rented vehicle for you to move around, the location is not strategic at all if you plan to walk from place-to-place. We rented a Kijang with a driver so it was easy-breezy for us. Breakfast is complimentary and although not much variety, they're tasty and truly Indonesian. The room is really2 compact but furniture is new and well-mantained. There's a convenience shop next door that's filled up with all the necessities. The restaurant is opened till dinner time but you may need to pre-order, I looked at the menu, very tantalizing with cheap price too but too bad we were out most of the time and were only back after dinner.
After staying for 2 nites there, we went to Jakarta for another 2 nites and returned to Cherry Homes for our final nite in Bandung. We left a paperbag full with gifts for our Bandung friend to collect and since he was away, by the time we came back from the Jakarta, the gifts was still intact. The hotel wouldn't mind if you leave a small bag with them for safekeeping while you're away for a couple of days but they don't have a special store room for this though.
If you are looking for a budget hotel with a really2 clean surroundings and hardworking staff, this is a place for you. I love the beautiful mini garden just outside the lobby.

After mixed review, decided to try the place .. the road was quite bad, but the place is okay for us, we liked the food and the price is very cheap -- the room is quite small but very very clean. We rather stay in this small but clean hotel to save the money for SHOPPING !!!!

I brought a large group to Cherry Homes Hotel a few months ago, and was informed that there was no problem with the access road and said that large vehicle could enter from the front, closest main road at the time that we came.
But on the day that we arrived it turned out that our vehicle was not allowed to enter the main road, and eventually the driver had to take other route, which was extremely difficult!
On the next day I asked the manager to provide us with at least 3 cars to accommodate our passengers from the main road to the hotel (as I was informed that there were 7 cars available) as most of our passengers were senior citizens and was impossible for them to walk to the hotel which is quite far from the main road.
But even after arguing with the hotel staff, they only provided us 1 (ONE) car to take all the passengers from the vehicle parked on the main street to the hotel, and it took us 1 HOUR just to take all passengers from the bus to the hotel!!!
We were all very disappointed that the hotel management does NOT care about the customers' satisfaction and DOES NOT provide its best support to us, the customers.
This was the LAST TIME I used Cherry Homes Hotel in Bandung.

The hotel is one of the first hotels your bus or van might drive near if coming from the greater JKT area and so deserves consideration for ease of getting to and time spent in actually getting from starting point (e.g. JKT) to a bandung hotel.
First impressions are of a hotel in a quiet neighborhood ( a huge plus in noise-ridden asia), clean and friendly employess who genuinely try to help you. It is immediately noticeable that the fish doesnt stink from the head down when entering the property and that someone in charge is trying to give the traveler a valued experience at the hotel.
The rooms that were seen were standard (228,000R), deluxe (325,000R) and superior (325,000). On the weekends, the standard class room will probably be sold out and an advanced reservation would probably be required.
Traveling Indonesia, 200,000R is generally the max I will pay for a room (most of the time I pay less) as there are usually places that one can find on their own that give you 90% of what a 250,000R room gives you for about half the price. 228,000R: I do not define as 'budget" - there are just too many alternatives that are cheaper.
While one can get to other locations in Bandung, I would not consider Cherry Hotel to be in the middle of the action. A Bandung resident thought the main areas of interest for a traveler would be (streets) Cihampelas, Cipaganti, Subroto and Dago (aka Juanda). These areas are easily reached from Cherry (out at the main road) by use of an Angkot van or for those less adventurous, a Blue Bird taxi called to the hotel (unless one is well versed in dealing with the mafia taxis', one should stick with Blue Bird). Although, Bandung is heavily traffic-jammed, probably every day of the week.
Back to Cherry, itself: the downside of the hotel was that the hot water is either not "hot"(i.e. luke warm) or nothing but cold water came out of the 'hot' tap over a two day weekend. When it was luke warm (at its best), this temperature took over 20 minutes to come by. This in itself is perhaps a deal breaker from the start. Two other concerns were that as Indonesia is in Asia, children are left to run and play and scream and yell without any adult supervision- the stairs, different levels and hallways are a fun play ground for young children. Perhaps the main purpose of having a hotel room is sleeping and someone else's children screaming outside your door (the hotel employees did nothing about this) on two different days is not ideal for one's stay. In addition, though no one was screaming, conversations of the room next door could be readily heard thru the wall.
Would I stay again? If in a pinch the hotel would not be a bad choice, but there have to be other hotels that could be considered.
Getting to Cherry:
If coming from the greater JKT area by van or bus and the van enters Bandung by way of Jl. Tol Pasteur, simply tell the driver in JKT that you want to get off the van at the
Jl. Sukajadi intersection of Jl. Dr. Junjunan (which is what the tol road becomes in Bandung). Possibly discuss this with the counter people at the van business in Jakarta before boarding the van and they will inform the driver. Exiting the van earlier saves you from backtracking thru Bandung and paying the fares Blue Bird 25.000R) or experiencing the frustration of the traffic jams.
On exiting the van or bus at the intersection noted above, turn left and walk down Sukajadi about 200m. On the right will be a noticeable sign for Cherry Hotel. Turn right down the street and walk five minutes; hotel is noticeable on a side street on your right. Total time to walk from exiting the van is about ten minutes. Indonesians by nature and culture are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet and if stuck ask someone to help you.
The van service Indonesian's think of most highly might be Xtrans (has a website and is on Jl. Cihampelas in Bandung).
