Vue Palace Hotel is widely regarded for its excellent value, offering guests reasonable rates and a prime location that guests find convenient for exploring nearby attractions. The hotel charms many with its inviting atmosphere, though a few guests have mentioned a strong scent in the lobby. The spacious and generally clean rooms are well-received, yet there's a consensus on the need for better maintenance.
Service at the hotel garners positive remarks for the attentive and efficient staff. While the amenities, including the diverse breakfast options, are praised, some visitors suggest further attention to cleanliness could enhance the experience.

I was attracted to stay in this hotel due to the fact that it's part of Artotel hotel empire, and its strategic location which is within walking distance to Pasar Baru, Kartika Sari, and railway station.
Upon arriving, I was really impressed by how neat and tidy the hotel's lobby is. This reminds me to Artotel hotel in Surabaya in the past.
But when we went to the room, I notice that some of the amenities looks dated. They have done a lot of cleaning and maintenance to look it presentable, but I feel like being thrown back to 1990s or 1980s.
When we entered the room, I was really pleased by how well the room's general quality.
However, when I went to the bathroom, I was shocked by mold and leaks on the ceiling. I wonder why did they sell this room to us, if it's in improper conditions?
And when I opened the window, I realize that the hotel's exterior was shabby and rusty.
I know the hotel from my days of staying in Bandung, and back then the hotel looked decrepit and poorly maintained. Artotel management have done good thing to improve it significantly, but they still need to do more.

Arrived early at the hotel vue palace and helped checkin early by 2 receptionists mba amel and mba kina. At the price I got his room was very worth it because there was a bath tub and I could get a smoking room according to the initial order. Thank you vue palace

Spending time at Vue Palace on the weekend feels like home with a warm welcome from Amel and several very helpful security guards. Unfortunately the swimming pool is currently under repair and cannot be used temporarily. close to the station and there is a bathtub, the price is worth it for the strategic location. additional breakfast is one hundred thousand and in my opinion with a lot of variety it is very cheap. My input is to ask for additional facilities such as a shaver, I need them but there aren't any

My stay at the hotel had numerous positive aspects, especially when it came to the staff. From the security team to the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff, everyone I interacted with was exceptionally polite, courteous, the thoughtfulness truly made a difference in the overall experience, and they deserve high praise for their hospitality.
The breakfast spread had a decent variety of options, and I particularly enjoyed the Indonesian dish, bubur ayam, which was flavorful and satisfying. However, the other local offerings like nasi goreng and tempe goreng did not quite meet my expectations in terms of taste and presentation. Additionally, I found the cold section lacking variety and freshness, which could be improved to offer more appealing choices.
One noticeable concern was with the glassware and chinaware used during breakfast. Despite being cleaned, many of the plates, bowls, cups, and glasses appeared worn, with noticeable marks and a lack of shine. They looked as though they had been in use for quite some time, and replacing these items with newer, fresher-looking pieces would greatly improve the dining experience.
In terms of atmosphere, the hotel is clearly striving to create a welcoming environment, but I did find the fragrance in the lobby to be overpowering. While a pleasant scent can enhance the ambiance, the one used here was applied so heavily that it caused me discomfort and even a headache at times. A more subtle and balanced fragrance would likely be more inviting and less overwhelming for guests.
As for the room, it was spacious with a large bathroom that had good potential. However, several maintenance and cleanliness issues stood out during my stay. The bathtub had visible dirt and grime, the bidet spray was not cleaned properly, and the sink had stains that gave the impression of neglect. These elements detracted from what could have been a more comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The towels and bed linens, while functional, had clearly seen better days. The towels had visible stains, and their color had faded to a grayish tone, far from the crisp white one would expect. The bed sheets and pillowcases were similarly worn, with a gray hue and several stains, which left me feeling that the housekeeping could be more thorough. Replacing these with fresh, bright-white linens would greatly enhance the sense of cleanliness and comfort in the room.
To sum up, the hotel is in a prime location with beautiful facilities and an outstanding team of staff who truly go above and beyond for guests. However, there are some areas that need attention to align with the high standards that the hotel aims to offer. By focusing on improving the cleanliness of the rooms and amenities, replacing outdated glassware and chinaware, and adjusting the strength of the fragrance in public areas, this hotel has the potential to offer an exceptional experience for its guests. I’m confident that with these improvements, future stays will be much more enjoyable.

The hotel is designed to cater local guests, which i am not.
The hotel has a mix of styles Thế don’t really match up: some marble floorings, colours and synthetic fabric sofas, wannabe natural materials stand with psychedelic decorations.. gym with broken machines, pool with careless maintenance washing pouring on guests and even the room has flaws: not isolated windows, leaking water from wc.. the hotel is old, has seen better days and frankly there were 2 employees re painting a decorated walk by the lift that is the last of the concerns given the status of rooms, gym & swimming pool. The only advantage of this hotel is the convenience of the location. Breakfast is acceptable but far too much cakes & bakery none of which is attractive, cooked food is spicy.
If you care about your holiday don’t book this place.
Maybe for a family is ok

Me and my family, along with my partner's family, stayed at Vue Palace to attend some business in Bandung. In terms of location, it is very strategic and only takes a 3-5 minute walk from Bandung Station. Close to the cake shop or shop by.
The lobby is spacious and clean, there are gelatoes, kids corcer near stairs, lots of sofas in the lobby for guests to queue or wait and can sit in the lobby.
There is a spa, gym and swimming pool. The gym and swimming pool are located on the 1st floor but the gym is quite small and some equipment is out of order so it cannot be used. The swimming pool is not very spacious, there is a kids pool, less lighting in the afternoon until the evening.
A big thank you to the Front Office team who was so helpful and helpful when the mom of my partner was in an accident. Thank you to FOM who has offered to refund my partner, then to Johanes who is willing to divide his time to take him to the hospital, and pick him up from the hospital even though it's 11 a.m. I don't know if when picking up I was out of his working hours or still incharge the essence thanks so much for the help and good service!!

The rooms are comfortable, spacious, clean too. I really need to check the electricity, the plug on the left side of the mattress is dead and check the cleanliness of the electric kettle again. There are lots of food choices, unfortunately there is no meat on the menu. The dessert is really good

Second time staying here. Came back here because I really liked the hotel. The hotel is not big but comfortable with all white room interiors. Just entering the lobby, you are greeted with a luxury theme. The food at the restaurant is varied. Prices below 500 thousand can get a room with bathtub facilities. Next, definitely come here again.
