Working while on vacation is everyone's dream. And that I got at the Swiss bell resort Dago Bandung. From behind the window, the view is very beautiful. Tangkuban Perahu Mountain, hills and morning sun become lasting memories while staying here.
As a writer and conten creator, room facilities are very supportive. a work desk, a large table with a sofa that directly faces the mountains, the swimming pool and golf course are very supportive.
The food available at breakfast is quite delicious, both in taste and in the form of presentation. There are many traditional Indonesian foods. Such as fried rice, uduk rice etc. Street snacks such as cililin wajit, dodol garut are also available. a great concept for hotels with international chains such as the Swiss bell resort as it brings out local wisdom .
I really like the swimming pool. even at the foot of the mountain but the water is warm. So children can swim or play water for a long time. the view from the swimming pool at sunset is very unique. and I haven't found the same anywhere else. very romantic. Thank you Swisbel Resort Dago for presenting it for us
the health protocol, service and hospitality of the hotel crew is very good. There are many hand sanitizers available in public areas. so that guests can wash their hands immediately after touching things. The hotel crew will also check the temperature of incoming guests. The room to be occupied is also sterilized so that it is safe. this makes me comfortable to live here, especially since Indonesia is still fighting against Covid-19
That makes me recommend if you go to Bandung, West Java, to stay at the Swisbel Resort Dago Bandung. a hotel that blends in with nature, be it for work, honeymoon or vacation with family.

(Check-In) We're arrived Monday, 3rd August at 12:45 PM then proceed to the lobby to check-in. But the receptionist told us our room already empty and to wait for the room to be cleaned by disinfectant spray. At 1:30 PM my wife asked the receptionist about the room readiness because some guests already have the key to their room (Even the one that arrived at the same time) but the receptionist told us to wait for a minute. At 1:45 PM I proceed to ask the receptionist again about the standard time for a room to be cleaned and the receptionist said "About an hour or so" because apparently our room has been used the night before. So we wait again. At 2:30 PM we finally can get inside our room.
(Room) We chose a Deluxe type room located on the 3rd floor (number 311). It's a 32 sqm room with a minibar, sink, TV, & sofa. The bathroom has a shower/bathtub combo and has a view of the golf course, but apparently, in my room, the people on the golf course can see the people in my room showering so we had to lower the window curtain. Sadly, the bathroom window curtain has a lot of moss on it so relaxing in the bathtub is out of the option for us.
(Breakfast) Breakfast is served by hotel staff wearing masks, face shields, and rubber gloves. They have a pretty decent selection of breakfast, from nasi kuning to sushi. They also have a delicious pastry that you must try.
(Health Protocol) This hotel has a pretty good health protocol. Your body temperature will be checked before entering the lobby or restaurant, there's a lot of touchless hand sanitizer, and all the hotel staff wears a mask and face shield.
(Pool) This hotel have an amazing heated infinity pool.

curious about the highly rated, almost always full at the weekend, i decided to stayed a night here. it is a good establishment, a quite new hotel. . i stayed in standard room. it is quite spacious and already equipped with bathtub (wow!). my room is facing the road, when the road is busy, it's very noisy. . kids club is closed during the pandemic (understandable), the pool is a big plus in this hotel. it is an infinity type with warm water. but no limitation about amount of people at the pool, so social distancing youself! . one of the biggest down of this hotel is the breakfast. the variation is okay, but taste need a lot of improvement. cleanliness at breakfast area is really miserable. waiter/tres just pick up the used/dirty plate without cleaning the table unless they asked. . in the term of pandemic moment, i believe that highly rated hotel need to doing the best not just being idle or lessen the standard because the revenue is still good.

Despite we checked in during weekdays, the occupation seems high as the check in lobby is quite crowded, also the pool, so the queue takes a bit longer. The staffs were very accommodative and friendly, to be specific I spoke to Eri and Pipit while they did the cleaning. My overall stay was a pleasant , the hotel did a high hygiene standard and covid protocol.

Spent 2 nights from 19 to 21 June, book 2 rooms in floor 11. I bring 2 kids with me and wife, we book extra bed. My mother in law and sister in law in beside room. Additonal 2 towels are provided as requested, so total we get 4 towels.
Cheap service #1 20 June: after clearing up my room, they only provide with 3 towels and forget to provide the floor mat.
Cheap service #2 20 June: order Soto Ayam (Chicken Soto) in restaurant. They bring a bowl of Soto WITHOUT a single piece of chicken meat inside. After complaining, they provide a replacement.
Cheap service #3 21 June 11.05 AM: after playing in pool, we go back to our room to taking a bath. However, all the 2 door access cards are not working properly. We placed the 2 cards in the same place in our bag for the last 2 nights and all was fine. Make a call in 11.10 from beside room. Hotel staff come in 11.20 bring a new access card. He can't explain what happens.

It is a new resort in Bandung. You can find it easily in google maps because it is placed in Dago, a very well known spot for cafes, restaurants, and hotels in Bandung.
The staffs were very profesional, we had a little problem in our previous room but they handle it very soon and take a good care of it.

This is my first time to go to bandung. When I arrived at the hotel drop area, the concierge staff was very friendly. When I stepped into the lobby, once again the front office staff was very friendly and genuine. Fast check-in, clear explanation, Nice room, clean and tidy. Randy FO Spv made sure my stay was comfortable.
I booked for a deluxe room type, when checking in I got a room on the 1st floor, which is a smoking floor because I asked for a non smoking room. I reported the case to Randy. He did a good job of apologizing and explaining well to us that the deluxe room was fully booked. He arranged a new room for us with a free upgrade to grand deluxe room. The Grand deluxe room is very nice and with an amazing view. All staff very helpful & friendly. Randy is a great asset to this hotel.
I will recommend this hotel to my family & friends. I will definitely come back to Swiss Bell!

For second stay here I feel the same, always give best service during I stayed. Junior suite very recommen room. You feel like home. Special welcoming cake, fruits and jamu. Thanks alot. Then best bath tub in tha bathroom you can see best view., big pool and best fitness center all facilities have best view. All staff very warm. Bfast in restaurant variaty menu of course with staff stand by in any food stand, apriciate hygiene protocol healthy.
