As being "new kid on the block" de Braga by Artotel giving glimpse of hope for people who like to stay in Braga but bored with those older hotel in the main street. Located next to Merdeka Building and Ibis Style Braga they provide easy access to Asia Afrika, yet simply walking distance to Braga.
Room was pretty good with large window, ask for high floor and Lembang view you will see lights far on top mountains. Unfortunately the room is very bare, very few decorations even though they have big painting on the bed side, but very bare on the opposite. They provided Dolce Gusto in every room. The bathroom was up to standard.
The breakfast was good, lack in variety but excellent in taste. They provide both western and Indonesian breakfast.
Same floor as the restaurant there is swimming pool, with normal (not-heated) temperature. During daytime, it can be very hot since no shades around pool area.
Overall, de Braga by Artotel is a decent option for traveler who want to enjoy well-known Braga street with new ambiance.

Situated at Braga street was pros and cons. It was adjacent to many restaurants and cafes, as well as proximity to Bandung art-deco street of Asia Afrika. However it was difficult to get around to other places which requires driving. If your destination is the nearby area this could be your option, but if you looking explore greater Bandung better to chose hotel at other location.
The room was quite spacious and clean, above the standard of its class, i thought it’s a 4* instead of 3*. The building itself was nicely renovated, a white modern minimalistic design while maintaining some of the art-deco heritage of old Bandung buildings.

The lady staff delivered very good services during our check in & check out. Upon our request, she extended 1 hour check out time.
The 22 sq mt room was clean, though we found one used sugar sachet still left behind in the coffee tea serving tray. We informed the house keeping staff that happened to be in front of our room. We especially love the comfy super king bed.
A lot of restaurants and cafes are within walking distance from the hotel. Due to light drizzle in that Sunday evening, we chose a small Japanese resto that located directly in front of the hotel.
Our room-only stay, booked via tiket.com, was very worth it.

Bandung somehow always have a special place in my heart. And staying here is the best decisions I made when I want to visit Bandung. The location of this Hotel is just *chef kiss*, gives me so much convenience. The famous Braga streets with all of the cafes and pubs are just walking distance. The Hotel location is strategically sits at the center of the city, so I could go around Bandung with ease. The food is tasty and varies, The room is clean, and the service here is excellent with friendly, helpful, and surprisingly youthful staffs.

In the end of january, i spent my weekend with my wife at the debraga. I had a great services during my stay. I got surprised when we entering the room, since the hotel team upgrade our room also provide honeymoon setup in our room ( they know that we are newly wedd couple), thats so sweet and my wife loved it! 😁. Finally, step by step the pandemic breakout is vanished. Indonesia is ready to welcoming tourist again. My first journey in this happy moment is Bandung, and I choose de Braga for my home away from home. Located in a heritage surrounding Braga street, famous with heritage buildings. Check-in process was very fast. Our room was excellent, with clean linen, king size bed, spacious room, nice bathroom with hot water running freely and also WiFi is very fast. We were expected our pillows was big and fluffy (just like the pictures in the hotel website) but we found only a normal size pillows and not so fluffy also. They provided complimentary tea and sugar but the room was not equipped with hot water kettle, only the coffee machine without the user manual. Surrounded with many food vendors made us easy to found our meals during our stay. We enjoyed our stay. See u at our next visit to Bandung

There was an anniversary celebration when we stayed here. A band was playing loudly all afternoon and all evening. When I complained to the hotel, they said the band will continue playing until 12:30AM. The NOISE is so loud, the walls are reverberating. The hotel offered to transfer me to a room in a higher floor, but the entire room smells so moldy and old and dusty. I told the hotel that they should have told guests that there will be super loud music, otherwise we would not have booked our stay here. Very, very disappointed. Slippers are bad too. I had a headache the whole time. Avoid! Avoid!
