I waited since 2 years ago to stay with them but covid hits. Managed to stay with them recently , was happy that they were confident and mentioned they were happy to provide the room I requested . They have different room designs so being a pink person, I wanted their hearts room. When I arrived, being all excited to realise they gave me the green room( the color I disliked most). The chairs in the room is not comfortable. When i asked the girl at reception, she said this is the hearts room. Obviously it wasn't. CONS. There is NO TV in the room. Pool was nice looking but freezing cold. The bed creaks like crazy on every movement and is not comfortable. Definitely not for honeymoon couples .Won't be able to enjoy early night as the pub nearby seems to have live band till 10pm. No mini mart nearby. It seems to be isolated but you can walk through the monkey forest to get to some shops. Plus point is there is a fridge , everything seems clean but towels seemed to be wearing off. Monkeys will be at the balcony in the morning so always keep your room door shut. Yes the artwork in the room are beautiful but I cut the stay short. The food however is the best . Everything is fresh and yummy . I can eat there everyday plus its very affordable. The pancakes is super soft . The hashbrown is super yummy. The big breakfast set is super filling . The whole place is nice for photo taking . Maybe if they have honored my room request I would be happier there .…
Fantastic stay: - great facilities. Especially with our 2.5 year old boy: ---- kiddie pool is shaded ---- great kids club with plenty of activities supervised by the kids club staff. Highly recommended
What a beautiful hotel to get away from everything. Very relaxing with lovely gardens and the interiors of the rooms are very artistic. The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfasts are superb too. The atmosphere at night is delightful with different musical performances and dance in the restaurant bar area most nights .The hosts Jessica and her husband are very welcoming and the staff most helpful . Quite an experience different from other hotels ..will definitely visit again
We originally stayed at Bali Bohemia for one night, as we had reservations at a, supposedly much fancier, village hotel right up the road. Our first night was lovely with an amazing staff and fantastic breakfast included. We then set off to the next hotel and were immediately disappointed with what they had to offer for the price. We called up Bali Bohemia and they got us into the ‘Lotus’ room for cheaper than the rate we would have been paying at the competitor. Amazing, amazing, amazing... A private pool with lounge chairs, a 2 story house with 3 beds, 2 bathrooms, a daybed looking over monkey forest. We had a small issue with some aggressive monkeys but learned quickly that they back off when the slingshot comes out :) The atmosphere and proximity to monkey forest and Ubud put Bali Bohemia at the top of our list of places to stay or recommend when in Ubud. Another note, we spent Nyepi here which was great. The next day, the village was locked down and the management here went out of their way to get permission from village leaders to get us to the airport , even when all of Bali was on lockdown.…
I loved everything about this place. The owners and the staff were wonderful - very kind and forthcoming, ready to provide information on everything you would like to know about Ubud and its people, local customs, places to go, things to see... I loved it so much that I extended my stay three times. The rooms (I was in three, as I was extending my stay) were clean, spacious, comfortable and fun to be in. Every room was designed differently, but they were all very artistic, colorful and unique. I stayed in Standard, Deluxe and the Hut. The Hut had a bathroom with an open roof and a fountain. The Deluxe had a gallery for the bed. They all had private balconies with access to a beautiful swimming pool. There is a restaurant with fabulous food, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and local - exceptionally tasty, fresh, healthy and great for vegetarians. Though, I could see that meat eaters admired it as well. I enjoyed live music in the evenings at the restaurant very much, but if you would rather choose to sleep, you could not hear the music in your room. The location is great - at the very entrance to the famous Monkey Forest. It is not too far from the shops and other bars and restaurants, but I always preferred to eat at the hotel restaurant. The Ubud Palace is within walking distance if you like walking, or you can take a taxi. You can take a walk in the rice fields or book a day tour to visit other attractions like waterfalls and temples or go hiking in the mountains. The hotel staff can book these activities for you, as well as a massage therapist who comes to the hotel. This is a place where you can feel at home, very welcoming and relaxed about hotel rules, such as breakfast time. If you like to sleep till noon, no worries, you will not miss your breakfast! When I was leaving, I was given a present - a lovely scarf to remind me of this fairytale place. I will definitely return.…
A really cool hotel with amazing decorations and a nice pool, great breakfast menu, really nice and friendly stuff. Only critique is that the hut rooms also need to get AC-s otherwise they werereally cool rooms to stay in but a little dark as well
We stayed six nights and found it very relaxing. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the rooms are very tastefully appointed. It’s right next to the Monkey Forest - so endless entertainment, especially at breakfast. It was nice to be 10 minute walk from the noise and hustle of the city centre.
great service, reception girls lovely ,also all staff friendly and helpful ,great food ,good location.clean funky rooms and restaurant.monkeys right on your doorstep a bonus.would visit again, very good value
We stayed here for 8 days, and it was simply unbelievable!!! Such a casual and laid back atmosphere, and you are JUST NEXT to the monkey forest.... We had "monkey problems" by the pool a few times (steeling candy), but it was actually funny :-) The food is amazing, and you are just 5 minutes away from the busy shopping streets of ubud. Would love to come back some day
We stayed in the room called passion, which was their basic package with breakfast included. We've had an amazing 3 nights in this hotel, with wonderful breakfasts watching the monkeys play outside the front in the beautiful surroundings of the restaurant. The room was spacious, fitted with fan and air con, fridge, huge bed, mosquito net, powerful and big shower and a lovely balcony to sit on. The staff have gone out of their way to make sure our stay is pleasant and we've seen them accommodate other guests very well (especially those with little children). Our rooms have been cleaned whilst we've been at breakfast in such a speedy fashion I don't know how they did such a great job! All the little touches of this place have made it so worth visiting, we want to take the decor home. There are great vibes in the evening with the music nights but the atmosphere in general is very chilled. The hotel is located walking distance from most central Ubud attractions, less than a minute from the monkey forest, 20 mins to the palace and 30 mins to the Ridge walk. On route to all these you'll come across the best food restaurants in Ubud! We will miss being here! …
