Great cheap 3* hotel find in Ubud. Clean rooms, friendly staff and well located for ubud touring and trips. Rooms are big with very big beds. Particularly liked breakfast by the tranquil pool area. WiFi was strong too if that makes a difference to those working

We were there in the middle of February. Tourism in crisis. After two days re-negotiated the price. Clean, friendly place with own transportation options. Quiet since it´s off thenoisy trafic. Good, cheap restaurant without overpricing. Generous breakfast incl. Spacious room with a terrace. Serviceminded young staff. Speak English. There was some confusion with the distribution andinformation of WiFi. Turned out at to be expensive at the end.

Room was clean and cozy. I enjoyed the ambience at pool area, it was nice and relaxing. Staff is friendly also. The most important thing for me is the hotel is still very close to ubud central area and they give me free shuttle to go there. By the way, adventure activity site is also close if you want to have some adventure activity at ubud.

This resort have 24 spacious rooms. The service & the hospitality made you feel 'home' but some of the staff need to be more trained. Good set menu breakfast and offer free refill drinking water. The design of this resort was good a combination of balinese and modern Ministore just in front of the resort. Recommended resort with affordable rate

Bad things: *Awful wifi *Hot water only for 1 person at a time with the shower *bad water preasure with warm water *They don’t change the bedsheets or towels (they have stains from previous guests on them) *dinner food is expensive and tastes mediocre *the walls are paper thin (i can hear clients next door watching movies each night and i can even hear them talking) Good things: Cheap Mediocre breakfest 15 minutes away from ubud nice small pool I guess the place is good if you only plan to sleep at the hotel and spend time elsewhere.

My wife and I stayed at the D'Bulakan boutique resort for a week on a recent trip to Bali. We used ubud as a base to explore the surrounding regions of Bali as day trips and were looking for a comfortable, economical but mid range hotel option. Here are a few of my thoughts. PROS * Value - It cost us around 50AUD a night and I thought this was fantastic value for what we got. * Breakfast - Cost of hotel includes breakfast * Rooms - The rooms themselves were spacious, with comfortable beds and air conditioning. The rooms are set up so that they face towards a central resort style pool which was lovely. * Service - staff were friendly and open to requests. CONS * Wifi no good * Location - It's about a 5km walk to the centre of town. Unfortunately this walk occurs along a very built up road and isn't pleasant nor scenic so you are reliant on transportation to get you in and out of town. There isn't really much around in terms of restaurant or things to see. The resort runs a free shuttle bus service but the times are few and far between. For example, you would need to get the 1600 shuttle into the town but then wait until the 2030 shuttle to take you back. This meant you could usually use one of the shuttles to get to/from town but you would usually be stuck paying 100000IR one way. Overall this was a good stay and I would recommend this place to others

Offered best services by the staff. We traveled with kids and there were some "kids wants" which were to meet, and they never failed to disappoint. Be it taking extra breakfast to room or asking for milk at odd timings. They never said no on any request neither did they talked about any extra charges on any of them. Rooms are spacious with beautiful pool view. Highly recommended.

Lovely resort in Ubud with a very nice pool and accommodations. They offer a driver service to drop you off in downtown Ubud near the market and free pick up afterwards. You could easily walk to many restaurants and shops near by but the hours are limited. So if you do a tour that comes back later you will need to plan ahead for your dinner arrangements. Some food is available onsite. One traveler in our group was gluten free and vegetarian so the hotel couldn’t really accommodate them, but there are multiple restaurants with GF Vegetarian options downtown Ubud. So request your transportation spot in advance if the resort is busy. Sleeping if you are not used to noise could be difficult without earplugs. There are many chickens close by the make noise round the clock. Some light traffic noise, but not too bad. We enjoyed our stay of many days and we would come back again.
