The hotel is located in Nyuh Kuning area, the secluded and quiet part of Ubud. Exactly behind Monkey Forest. You can walk through the forest (you will need to pay the entrance fee) or the pathway adjacent to the forest (be careful as you are sharing the path with motorcycles) to get to Ubud centre. However, these paths closed at...

I have stayed at Alam Indah twice and have loved every minute spent there. It is a beautiful traditional hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms set in a stunning garden. The upstairs rooms have view to die for. Service is a top priority here and staff will go out of their way to make you comfortable. The property borders the monkey...

If you want the Ubud Bali garden resort experience next to the monkey forest this is for you. You will stay in a clean villa in a beautiful garden jungle setting. The staff are excellent in looking to your needs. It isa 10 minute walk along the monkey forest park to get to Ubud town proper so it's a fantastic...

Perched on a hillside with manicured informal gardens, views, friendly attentive staff, and well appointed private rooms... beautiful. Food: v.nice simple elegant breakfast and afternoon tea. They also import more substantial meals from the nearby Lake Leke restaurant - we had a good Rijstaeffl on the patio of our room. Air con and ceiling fan in room worked. Bath with...

We came to UBUD expecting to relax, do yoga, meditate, and take in Balinese culture but the frenetic pace of the town and ALL of its tourists (most of whom seemed to be on a quick trip from Kuta Beach to Starbucks and to shop for Western clothes). Fortunately, our hotel was an Oasis!!! The staff were lovely, as almost...

Stayed here for 3 days in February and wish we had stayed here longer. Loved the peace and quiet and the beautiful gardens, so many butterflies, frogs and cheeky monkeys. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the shuttle bus was a real bonus. Breakfast was good and plentiful, especially good as it was freshly prepared. Afternoon tea was...

We stayed there for 2 nights and I've never enjoyed Bali more! The hotel is very exquisite, with its beautiful garden settings and houses. My and my husband took a few hours taking photographs in the garden, and paid some small visit inside some of the rooms (under supervision, and when it's noon and empty of course). We loved the...

My daughter and I just spent 4 days here. We stayed in the Gardenia room and it was perfect. The staff were very warm and welcoming and served a beautiful breakfast every morning. The atmosphere was very relaxed and allowed us to unwind. They offered a free shuttle to shops and restaurants all day every day however the walk into...

Alam Indah is a very special place to stay. Few cottages surround a central building and an outdoor pool with lots of open space, surrounded by a well maintained garden which is again surrounded by dense forest. Location near to Monkey Forest and the commercial centre of Ubud, allow to stroll to these places on foot.
