I have been to Bali many many times but this place is by far the worse I have ever seen and for over $200 AUD what a complete joke... This place should not be called a resort in any way....disgusting is what i call it....mould ridden, decrepit yuk yuk yuk !!! I wouldn't stay here again if it were free......

This place was wonderful! The staff are friendly and knowledgable of the area. They are also extremely helpful and will help to organise taxis or have your food brought to your bungalow free of extra charge. They kindly organised a breakfast box for us for our early start on the day we departed. The food is delicious and super fresh....

We booked a deluxe villa with private pool in the Barong Resort and Spa in Ubud. When we compared the brochure in the room with the actual state of the place the situation was quite different. This was our second visit to the Barong in Ubud and for us it brought back precious memories! Still the same loose knob of...

Barong is a beautiful boutique resort, we've been staying here on numerous visits and just came back again for 6 nights. It is Balinese owned and full of character that reflects the beautiful traditional style of Bali. It lives in harmony with the nature; the resort itself is like a mini forest! It's also very affordable! It can use some...

A nice small hotel in an excellent location. Despite being in central Ubud, it is quiet and restful. Being able to walk to everything in Ubud is really useful and saves messing about with taxis. The laundry across the road is great and very inexpensive and you are surrounded by restaurants with plenty of shopping nearby if you want it....

Beautiful hotel, with a really relaxing and authentic Balinese vibe going on. This was the kind of place I had hoped to stay when I knew I was going to Bali. I felt very 'Zen' on checking out. It's not a standard, 'chain-hotel', homogenised place to stay which is perfect. Location is also perfect, you are set back in the...

The location was great. Huge room and bathroom that had absolutely everything that I needed, which was bright and spotlessly clean. The personel was really friendly and helpful and room service with its food was excellent!
