We stayed in here for 3 nights in november 2011. We had a room with balcony(big, around 4x4 m) which had a great view on the rice paddies. The room was really nice and big. The bathroom was partially open, which means you could shower under the sky!(the rest was under a roof including a seperate bathtub). But the best...

There have been so many wonderful reviews of this small hotel that I don't think that I can really add anything as everything has already been said. Our room was gorgeous with a huge, very comfortable bed, wonderful balcony, beautiful bathroom, all with incredible views. The staff is great. They deliver a fantastic breakfast to your room if you ask....

What a special place, we really loved it here and the staff was really great too. Our room was large and we had a great big patio overlooking the rice fields. There is no tv in the room which was fine with us since we new this a head of time and had movies on our tablet to watch before...

My boyfriend and I stayed for our first 4 nights in Bali in the middle of March 2012. It was a bit of a splurge compared to our other accommodations however I would happily do it again. In fact if I am able to one day go back to Ubud there is no other place I would stay at! The...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days in March 2012. We were booked into the Kenari, but due to roof repairs (and/or renovation?) we were put into the Caswary instead. Overall, we both really enjoyed the Alam Jiwa. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and warm, and you can tell they have been doing this for some...

I may return to Bali for the sole purpose of staying at this hotel again. Service is understated, warm. Physical environment is lush, green, comforting. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, clean. Breakfasts enjoyable. It's a bit of a walk to town, but the hotel is very accommodating with rides.

All I can say is that this hotel is wonderful. We stayed one night in the Jatayu Garden View room on our way to Amed and wished we could have stayed longer. On booking I was dissapointed to find that all of the rice paddy view rooms were full, but on arriving into our villa (the room is more like...

We stayed here for four nights. We booked through their own website and got prompt and fast replies throughout. The staff is their best asset and the breakfast comes close second. The shuttle service is irreplaceable. We loved the outdoor shower and space in the Jatayu room. The hotel was fully booked while we were there, so I'd advice to...

One of the best hotels we've stayed at across the world. Wonderful rooms, nice pool, friendly people. If it happens to rain (and it will) spend the time in the pool. Great grounds, and walks, and a pleasant walk into Ubud (don't let the monkeys scare you, and don't feed them or you'll never be rid of them.) It helped...
