We stayed at Alam Jiwa for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed a little longer. The place is so serene and beautiful! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. It is a perfect place for anyone who loves to be surrounded by beautiful nature and needs a break from hectic city life. Can't wait to go back.....

Alam Jiwa is located behind Monkey Forest, and enjoys spectacular rice paddy and volcano views. There is a small swimming pool, good to seat around and enjoy the sound of nature! My wife and i had a large room, with comfortable bed and big toilet with open sky shower, nice feeling! In the morning good breakfast also delivered in the...

The attention to detail is superb and the villas are absolutely beautiful. Breakfast is wonderful, and can be served by your room or by the lovely pool. I stayed there twice with my parents and they could not have been more enchanted by their introduction to Bali. Superb, and great value!

My wife and I spent the nights of 13 and 14th April at Alam Jiwa. We made our booking direclty with them which was handled efficiently. A car was waiting for us at the airport upon arrival. Our room was located on the first floor looking down to the river and up to the rice terraces. We would have preferred...

Spent four days at Alam Jiwa. A nice escape from the somewhat hectic environs of Ubud. Good base for touring Bali. The location is in a word, serene. Flowing water everywhere. Interesting to shower au naturale with farmers working the rice fields walking by. Stayed three nights in the Merpati room and then had to move to Jataya because of...

This is a great place to stay. We stayed from the 15-17th April. There isn't anything else that I would require on a holiday. Alam Jiwa is nestled amongst nature yet not far away from town. You hear water flowing anywhere you walk. The varying sounds of the animals add to its rustic charm. The rice paddy fields are a...

We stayed here for 3 nights, and sure wished it was longer! It has many plants and trees around that give a really nice natural feel, beautiful rice patty views, and a very nice pool and rooms. The staff are extremely accomdatling, and the hotel offers free driving service. But many of the Ubud acctrations are not too far away....

We stayed in the Manis Merpati at Alam Jiwa. A house some 50m from the main building and the pool. Rice paddies are on both east and west of the House and it has a view on the distant cone of Gunung Agung - lest it be shrouded in clouds. The sound of the stream some 20 m below, the...

We just returned from a 4 night stay at the ALAM JIWA. We had a group of 14 people from 1 yr through to teens and adults and booked out a number of the rooms. Everyone agreed that this was the best part of our trip. The hotel is stunning in appearance. The views spectacular and it is sooo peaceful....
