Foretold house sizes were bigger than in reality. The room in Lumbung is only about 15 m2 and very dark. There was not a decent room for suitcases. The fan did'nt work properly. Steep narrow steps up. Bathroom downstairs. Bramha rooms were better with air conditions. Some mornings you had to wait breakfast. Bali style decoration. Free shuttle to Ubud....

Dear Harri, On behalf the Fair Future Foundation, i hope this answer will find your well and happy. Seven months after, you post a review on Tripadvisor about the Foundation houses. I’m feeling very bad with your words actually. There was a leak and we waited for the rainy season ends to make these repairs in the bathroom (actually we...

We had a lovely stay in the midst of nature. Stayed 2 nights, too too short. I recommend you stay at least 4 nights to experience the real Ubud. The rooms were lovely, view was fabulous, staff was warm and friendly. They cooked yummy breakfast for us, the jaffles were delicious! The only thing my 12 year old was disappointed...

Dear friends, It was also for us a real pleasure to meet you. About the swimming pool and has i explain you, we were just changed about 30% of the water, which explains why it was not clear, but extremely clean. few hours after, the water was crystal clear. We wish you all the best and we hope to see...

We stayed here for four nights with our two children aged 9/12. We had two bungalows dragonfly and butterfly next to each other and under one large porch. They opened out onto the infinity pool. The view was amazing onto rice terraces. Breakfast was cooked for us every morning and served on our private porch. The staff were very helpful...

This place is perfect. Tucked away slightly out of the Main Street of Ubud so is a lot quieter, but still in walking distance (which is beautiful through the rice fields) to all of the action! On an evening we often took a taxi but it's very cheap and there is also a shuttle provided. The rooms are decorated beautifully...

Stayed 6 nights, enjoyed every minute. Half hour walk from the center of Ubud, nice walk every evening and a taxi back after dinner. Only five rooms so a maximum of 10 people can stay. Great pool overlooking the valley and and rice fields. Great breakfast cooked fresh every day lots to choose from. Definitely coming back.

Apart from being in a stunning location with a gorgeous pool overlooking the rice terraces, Alex and his staff treat you with such kindness, as if you were family. For couples, staying in the Magical Lumbung is recommended, as it is a romantic take on the traditional Balinese house. The service was magnificent, as was the food - and if...

Just returned from a 3 nights stayed at Capung Sakti and we can't wait to go back. Brahma villa was just perfect. It was spotless and had everything we need. Our kids, 10 & 13, did not find the need to switch on the TV even once. They literally went from the bed to the pool in the morning and...

“We booked a single room but some confusion over the booking saw two rooms booked in our name. On arrival we changed this in the knowledge that we might have to share the common facilities outside the room. As it turned out no-one was in the other room and it wouldn't have been an imposition to share. Ideally travelling and booking by two couples would overcome this problem.”

“All the rooms are lovely - a romantic couple should ask for the first floor one one the right as you come down the stairs. I had the pool facing one which was lovely, however the two rooms at the end with the big terrace also had a lot going for them. I don't think you would be disappointed with any of the options.”
