Double bed unit with ensuite, beautifully decorated inside and outside with separate Balinese style entrance. The daughter prepared 7:15 am early breakfast ( normal time is 8:00am ) for the 2 days we needed to leave for tour at 8:00 am. The delicious breakfast varied & ready on patio. The daughter who attended us was pleasant, friendly , informative and helpful. Lot of stores and restaurants on nearby big streets. Taxi & cars can not enter "typical residential street / walkway " so make sure ur taxi driver will walk U to Homestay otherwise very hard to find location for 1st time. Our taxi driver willing offered knowing we are tourists. Highly recommemd if staying in Ubud, Bali. Gin Canada

If you want an authentic Balinese experience in Ubud, this is for you. The hosts are friendly, speak good English, and one of the main hostesses (family member) is a nurse. The breakfast is simple (eggs with toast and coffee) however for an air conditioned room just minutes from Monkey Forest and other key attractions within walking distance for AUD$17 a night - well worth it. If you're look for value, this is the place to be! Highly recommended.

We booked one night stay at Nyoman's and decided to extend it. The rooms are comfortable and air conditioned and the amenities are modern. Nyoman and his family are so friendly and welcoming and helped recommend local workshops and places to see/do. The breakfast which came included was super filling, fresh and delicious! Thanks Nyoman and family!

I didn't make any bookings prior to arriving in Ubud. My taxi dropped me off in the center of town and I decided to walk around and check out the plethora of guest houses all over town. I stumbled across this guest house by chance. It's just a couple minutes walk off the main road. Walking distance from the Monkey Forest. I was kindly greeted when I walked into the property inquiring about a vacancy. I decided I didn't need to see any other properties after being shown the first room. I stayed alone in my own private little one room house (house #1). Two comfortable beds, a ceiling fan (AC is an option if you want), my private bathroom and porch. Such a wonderful place to relax and sip tea/coffee that is offered all day. Breakfast is included. The owners also serve as a taxi and tour guide. I did a wonderful day tour with the owner's nephew. Such a sweet family! I would definitely recommend staying there if you want a place to relax and be in peace. I really really loved it there. 1 night turned into 5 nights. Even that wasn't enough. I will be back! <3

Nyoman Murjana Home Stay is truly a home away from home!! The moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and treated like family the entire stay. Over the 10 days my young daughter and I enjoyed many days and nights hanging out with the family (from very young to very old!) and got the most amazing cultural experience! They constantly went the extra mile serve their guests and often provided free lifts for us around Ubud, offered food, advice and company. My daughter even helped prepare the offerings a few times with them! They are also very respectful and leave you to your privacy if that's what you're after. The breakfasts were amazing and prepared by a talented worker called Dewa! Each day was a slightly different breakfast and a delicious surprise each time!! We looked forward to it every day, breast breakfast we had in Bali for 3 weeks! Omelette, fruit salad, pancake, toast, scrambled eggs, coffee, etc... The home stay grounds are incredible. Our terrace overlooked a truly zen garden! Most beautiful garden I've ever seen. And every inch of this place is completely authentic Balinese style which makes it so charming! Our room (#1) had 2 double beds, with mosquito nets, a fan, bath, shower, basin, wardrobe, mirror, desk and an amazing terrace with a big sofa and breakfast table and chairs. The owner Nyoman and all the family were warm, welcoming, kind, interested in us, happy, generous and just beautiful! We'll miss them a lot!! The only downside is there is no pool and considering Bali gets quite hot, that would be a very nice extra! But I would still stay here again in a heartbeat, even without a pool. We love your place and look forward to returning soon!!

The place is simply gorgeous, cos the room is a villa built in traditional bali style. Orange bricks, colorful statues and delicate decor with a budget price. Room is clean and comfy. In the morning, I was waken up by the bird songs and fragrant flower from its garden! Then enjoy their home-made yummy breakfast chilling at the balcony. In the beautiful Ubud, it's not difficult to find a homestay like this. What makes it stand out is the owner! Mr Nyoman is not only a helpful owner, but also a great artist, I am deeply impressed by his paintings, birds, flowers, nature in bali etc. It is also a precious opportunity to meet and talk with a local artist this way. Also, he is in charge of traditional dance show, we got to see a very nice show with best seats thanks to him. The other family members are also super lovely to meet, me and his daughter are the same generation and we have so much fun together. She shared with me so many local stories and even showed me the bali dance! Where else could I bump into someone kind to tell me all about this in ubud? I stayed only two nights here, very short time however a lot of great memories and getting to know bali in such an interesting way. I highly recommend it and would love to come back again.

Very sympathetic and lovely family that offered help for everything. The room was a bit worn out, for example (cigarette?) burn marks on bedsheets and the fan did not offer relief for the heat during night. Good breakfast. Good value for price.
