I cannot begin to explain how blessed I feel that my friend and I happened upon Bayu Guest House. We came to Bali after leaving Thailand with no specific plans and happened upon Bayu Guest House while walking the streets near the Monkey Forest looking for an affordable place to stay. We planned on staying one night and moving along...

My girlfriend and I just finished a short (too short) trip travelling around Bali and like most people, managed to stay in some pretty fantastic resorts and hotels. This was the highlight of our trip though. The owners are amazing, so friendly, so helpful. We woke up to breakfast on a balcony overlooking the lush rice fields with the just...

I gave it 5 out of 5 because 6 isn't an option. Clean spacious room, we stayed in Bayu Room. Nice view of rice paddy on balcony. The bar fridge beers and water prices are cheaper /on par with supermarkets, and beer is expensive in Indonesia. We stayed here for 3 days and over Nyepi(Balinese new year). On that day...

This was my fourth stay at Bayu and as always it was great. The location is central but it is very quiet and the lovely garden make it a very peaceful place to relax. The staff are friendly, helpful and love to clean and tidy your room! I feel very at home here and have already booked my next visit!

We booked the Rama Room 8 months in advance, and received an email from the owner to confirm this. However on arrival we were told that we did NOT have the Rama Room for the first two days but the Sita Room, which only had a limited confined view. The Rama Room has a pleasant rice paddy view. (The Bayu...

The staff were always very helpful and happy! It was a great find and set back off the main road so very quite and secluded. Everything from airport transfers, accommodation, scooter rental was excellent value for money. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Great location between the market and the monkey forest, but not visible from the main street. Family run and very friendly, not deluxe, but very well kept. Comfy beds and room made each time you get out. Good breakfast. Nice welcome with a fresh coconut. Recommanded

This is a tiny little guest house with only 3 or 4 rooms but it's run at a quality better than some five star hotels. The staff were like ninjas who were barely noticed but succeeded in making up the rooms beautifully and delivering our morning breakfast, overlooking the padi fields, at a moment's notice. We booked on the day...
