Recently traveled to Bali stayed 4 days in Ubud a Kamandalu. It's location is pretty good, about a 15 minute drive from Ubud center. Close enough to get in and out when you want to but far enough to be away from the crowd. The hotel itself is on a beautiful plot of land that has really good landscaping and...

The Kamandalu resort was a big disappointment for us... Rather than ramble on here are a few plus and minus points from our perspective: + all of the staff were extremely friendly and did genuinely want to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. + the grounds of the resort are very well maintained and picturesque. - breakfast...

Nice villa with pool we stayed. Food is so so but every expensive. A breakfast buffet cost us more than US$40, not worth the money! Friendly staff and well organized activities thru out the days in the resort

A great, higher end of the market resort in Ubud. Fantastic facilities, service, staff and location - surrounded by green jungle and feeling of truly being away from it all, in a five star sense. Free good standard yoga every morning with a terrific breakfast set you up for each day you spend in Ubud. The staff are second to...

We stayed in the Kamandalu for the first three days of our trip to Bali. When you arrive at the resort, you are welcomed into a huge, airy, marble floored reception area with lovely views of the resort (which looks like it has been built into a rice terrace). We arrived at night and it looked really impressive. We were...

I travelled here in April 2017 with my wife, my 1yr old son and our nanny. We booked a 2-bed pool villa and it was sublime. Great views overlooking the valley, lovely private pool (or pools in our case with villa 126) and beautiful big comfortable beds. We woke up to watch monkeys swinging about the trees in the valley...

All the staff were friendly and professionally. We were after a romantic and relaxing holiday. Kamandalu performed extremely well. The organised activities were so well thought of. They only let down was that the pool was not ready as anticipated. Yes, I would go again and yes, I would recommend it. Do all the activities. Well worth it!

For anyone who has never been to Bali, and isn't planning on staying anywhere other than the Kamandalu, then this place is lovely. The views are stunning, the hotel is nice and the rooms are good. But if, like us, you're used to accommodation that is well priced, generous and has attentive and caring staff then be warned - the...
