We had an amazingly luxurious night stay in Pita Maha in Ubud. This historical and prestigous resort is absolutely stunning with a very tranquil scenic forest facing and the whole resort is unique of its own surrounded by vast beautiful landscape. The service staffs were very friendly, attentive and super with a touch of warmth. Thank you Mr Gede of the front-desk reception ! Breakfast was deliciously prepared and served, we felt very pampered indeed. It was a pleasure having to meet Mr Joni, the Manager of Pita Maha whom is such a wonderful, friendly and cheerful gentleman who gave me some insight of this resort on which I hold fond memory leaving this spectacular place. Beautiful hotel with old world charm in the Campuhan area of Ubud. Rooms are nicely appointed, although I kind of wished the bathroom would be indoors. Service was exceptional, everyone was very friendly and service at the restaurant was polished. Much praise to the hotel's friendly manager, Pak Agung, who personally ensured that we had a wonderful stay.

If you want to taste the real Ubud experience this is the place. The resort is tucked in the beautiful jungle scenery and yet close to Ubud Center with all the good cafes and restaurants. The villas are spacious with a lovely open view to the jungle and you get that refreshing breeze when you open the big sliding doors. The interior and exterior of the villas is a combination of traditional with a touch of luxury elements. It’s very peaceful. The pool is one of a kind. It’s big so you can have a good swim and it feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle with all the green and rocky sculptural surroundings. The stuff is very helpful. The took care of us for 2 months and were very responsive to our needs. We’ve learned a lot about their culture and tasted very delicious and traditional dishes prepared by them. Pita Maha hotel is one of the nicest hotels in Bali without a doubt - we have been to bali scores of times. The rooms are beautifully crafted and detailed with 2 day beds, shower, bath, plenty of hot water, and good wifi. The views from rooms look over the lush valley towards 'Bridges' and forest. We came for Ubud Writers Festival, which was located only about 200m down the way and very close to the centre of ubud and all restaurants etc. Staff were superb with excellent English and gave us a free 1 hour trek along rice padi and views across the valley - so nice. Honestly, can not recommend this place enough for luxurious and smart/considerate set out of amenities - high quality bed, thin and thick pillows, international plugs both side of bed .... Beautiful

I can only describe the pita maha resort as paradise. We were wowed from the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect, the staff are amazing and will anything for,they are so polite and courteous. Our villa was stunning,very big,beautiful garden with a pool and view over the rainforest. Would not hesitate to stay here again,and very much hope we can one day.
