I really enjoyed my stay, the room was excellent and staff super nice, will definitely come back! Location great, Ubud is a magical little town, rent a motorbike and explore the mountains, also visit restaurants, the ones locals go to.

I have been going back regularly over the past 4 years. It is always a welcoming experience. The rooms are lovely + clean plus the staff is friendly. I enjoy that I am never disappointed in the level of cleanliness. The location is ideal. You will be in the centre of town with everything a close walk away. The atmosphere resembles... More

This review is based on a very short stay (3 hours including walk into centre of Ubud) in standard room in Pondok Pundi. On a first sight the room and especially the bathroom is very old and dirty. Spiderwebs are in every corner, there was some kind of chocolate on the floor which hasn´t been washed. After checking the blankets... More

Quite close to all attractions in ubud, Verwood rooms and spacious. A traditional Indonesian look, with great hospitality, good value for money. The pool has a tropical feel, with forest in the backdrop. Highly recommended!

Have mixed feelings about this place. The staff are very nice and the location is excellent if you want to be right on the main street. The rooms are far back enough that you don't hear the noise which is nice too. All of this for the price is great. Had a reservation here for 3 nights but left after... More

What a beautiful property. Pondok Pundi is on Monkey Forest Road, set back from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. You walk through a traditional Balinese gate, with your accomodation at the back of the property. We were in a huge room with an ornately carved entrance. It was just magic. Our room looked out on a forest and... More

Had an upstairs room which was very large with a Big bathroom, tv and air con. It was close to reception and the restaurant. Massage just downstairs. The rooms near the pool have a great view. You actually get free afternoon tea if you stay here which no one told us about until the last day. A house keeper told... More

Felt like a beautiful old palace - walked through and around small temple structures (typical Balinese layout) in order to get to our room, which was pretty large and grand-looking as well. Only upon closer inspection we realized there are fairly sized cracks in the old fashioned wooden walls (which could allow mosquitos through) and the bathroom's condition is subpar... More
