Detailed Reviews
The location is great as it’s away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud but yet within 15 mins walking distance . The Hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the cafe ‘s food prices are extremely reasonable. I will stay in this hotel again if I ever return to Ubud

We last visited Ubud Green in January 2020 and enjoyed a lovely stay. We are delighted to have been able to visit for the second time now that travel and hospitality is at last returning to normal. Firstly the resort has an excellent and very proactive manager and the most lovely team of staff. We felt so welcome by everyone! We upgraded on the day of arrival from a Garden villa to a Deluxe villa and were very pleased we did so. The villa was extremely spacious, comfortable and had a pretty view. Yes the villas are a little tired but they are clean, peaceful and very private. The resort is actively making improvements to villa amenities with new sun loungers etc. We used the hotel shuttle into Ubud but generally booked taxis via reception - they were inexpensive. If feeling energetic you can walk! The resort is located next to one of our favourite Ubud restaurants Muse - a two minute walk away- where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. In addition there is also a very new Circle K supermarket right next door for any supplies you may need. We felt that the room rate we had was exceptional value for money. All in all a great three night stay and we would not hesitate to return to Ubud Green one day soon. Thank you to all the team for their helpfulness and hospitality!

Struggle to understand some negative reviews! We had a wonderful stay here at Ubud Green!
We stayed for 5 nights at the end of a 2 weeks holiday around Asia.
The staff really make this place special, so attentive, thoughtful and friendly. It was out 20th wedding anniversary and they went out their way to make it special with bed decorations, a cake delivered and staff congratulating us.
The accommodation is fantastic, a real experience. You can clearly see why it’s called Ubud green, we loved the views and wildlife. Yes we had a few lizards appear in the villa but your in the middle of Bali! The staff came and help the visitors back outside. We booked a one bedroom villa with pool but we’re upgraded to a 2 bedroom one. We enjoyed the noise of the tree frogs at night whilst relaxing in our huge villa, really relaxing. It has all you need and housekeeping is fabulous, our villa was cleaned daily, clean towels etc. Lots of bottle water left daily with Bali coffee grounds and tea bags too.
It is a short walk from the main hub in Ubud but we walked in and back daily no issues. Took the shuttle back one evening as had a lot of shopping from the market and didn’t fancy a 15 min walk up hill with it in the humid heat. The bus runs regularly but you can also get a taxi for next to nothing. Being away from the main hustle and bustle was great for relaxing.
Breakfast service is a little slow but it’s all made fresh so we didn’t mind the wait, just keep in mind it is a wait if going on an early tour etc. We ate in the restaurant one evening and one lunchtime too, food always delicious and a good price. Highly recommend you try the floating breakfast one morning.
Highly recommend a stay here and if we are in Ubud again will definitely stay here!

There are some things need renovation, such as bathroom’s door which cannot completely close, making about 5-8 cm gap. The vertical shower is unusable, so that we can only use the flexible one (the other shower head). One more thing, they have shuttle service to Ubud Palace for every two hours. But the drivers are not always ready, so that if you want to use the shuttle, you need to wait for 10-20 minutes before going. So, better confirm first before using the shuttle. Overall, the villa is great, spacious and beautiful. The staffs are nice and friendly. Location is okay. Breakfast is okay.

This is a tough one as we did enjoy our stay… So straight off the bat, we got a stonking deal for what is an apartment with private pool. Having our own pool was great… not had this before. The kitchen/lounge was huge & the TV’s in the bedroom & lounge were both massive with Netflix & Youtube so that’s good and the staff are all lovely, they really are.
But as much as we enjoyed our time there, it’s the details that let it down sadly. The standards of cleanliness is lacking & the room(s) we stayed in need updating. It’s not the big items, it’s the small things like towel rails hanging off the walls, wonky taps where they’ve repaired leaks, only one towel each… no hand towels, no pool towels, no tea towels in the kitchen, only 1 plate, dirty mastic/sealant around all the bathroom fittings, dirt build up in the corners, pealing paint etc.
It’s a real shame as it could be amazing IF they would address the basics. They have a great hotel with great facilities let down by standards. And what’s highlighting it is the fact we’ve just checked into our next hotel in Sanur & it’s immaculately clean, smells fresh etc. with plenty of towels. It is what it is…

Stay was good but not great .
The good : location: the villas located on the outskirts of Ubud in nice green areas , complimentary shuttle bus available every 2 hours to and from centre of Ubud . Staff : was very welcoming , friendly and accommodating, packed our breakfast at 10:00pm as we were away for the next morning , gave us adaptors to our phones so we could charge them. The rooms were clean but a bit outdated .
The bad : Breakfast was okay , but very simple with limited options, definitely not the 5star hotel mark . Private swimming pool was extremely cold and not suitable for swimming ever on hot days , the room was pretty dark due to many trees around .
Good stay for a single young couples or solo , but definitely felt like a 3 star hotel mark .

I am unsure as to why there are a few bad recent reviews. We had a fantastic room, which yes, may have needed a few touch ups here and there, but nothing really took away from the beauty of this place. Bali has had over 2 years of no visitors, meaning hotels have been closed and most have had to shut their doors completely, so I think it’s understandable. Despite a few things needing upgrading, the rooms were very very clean and had lots of space. The staff went above and beyond and as I said before our stay was lovely. The location was great too, only 15-20 minute walk from the main centre. They also offered a shuttle 3 times a day and can arrange taxis to wherever you want to go.

Very disappointing
We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with my husband and two adult children for four days.
As soon as we were taken to the villa, we all felt very disappointing to the point wanted to leave and book another hotel. The inside of the room was very nice and clean but the entrance, the door, entry path were absolutely disgusting with dirt, moss, mould and rubbish. The second bedroom was upstairs and it had a separate entrance. The stairs were so slippery and dirty. If you were going to fall, no way you could hold on to the wall as it was completely covered with green moss. We requested the money back and wanted to move out, then they offered another villa which was better. The stairs to the second room was inside so it was okay. The pool was initially dirty, but they cleaned it.
I have to tell, the rooms and bathrooms were built architecturally designed and the whole place is integrated with the beautiful nature. The rooms and bathrooms had modern luxury amenities. But the issue is that the property hasn’t been managed, cleaned and upgraded. I understand the hotels were closed for a long period of time but it needs to be cleaned before inviting guests.

The hotel located in Jl. Sri Wedari which surrounds by local houses, rice fields and nature. As it placed among the locals, we can still feels the live around ( not like in Monkey forest street where most of the place is only for business purpose and just totally empty on pandemic moments).
We paid for 1 bedroom villa and got 1 Double + 1 Single rooms. We were travelling with 2 kids so this was perfect. The rooms were so comfy, with ensuite bathroom (master bedroom has bathtub). Big living room + fully equipped kitchen. The pool was just perfect for the kids. There is jacuzzi on the villa but couldn't operate at the moment. Too bad that their restaurant is also close as of the pandemic effect. However, there are some restaurants with great food just walking distance.
Overall we really happy with the hotel's location, standard amenities, service and communicative staff. We understand that they had to cut some services, close some rooms, and even the restaurant as of the pandemic effect. But still they keep the service as perfect as they can. Thanks Ubud Green, Hope to come again.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon. Our villa was very nice and spacious and having our own private swimming pool was lovely. The staff were friendly and polite. I would recommend this hotel but I would warn guests to be aware it is a little away from the centre of ubud so you will need to rely on the hotel shuttle bus or taxis
