First of all I would like to say the couple that own and run this place are very friendly . However I thought being charged 15 % on top of our bill when we checked out was a bit rough as we have never encountered this ever in any accommodation . And we had an unexpected guest late at night....

We have been visiting Ubud, and in particular Penestanan, for over 12 years, with our most recent stay of 4 weeks in June this year. We have stayed at various places about the district, at price ranges from budget to luxury, but often return to Gerebig Bungalows because it is such a lovely haven to relax in. Great pool, comfortable...

Recently stayed at Gerebig Bungalows in Penestanan village just outside Ubud. We have stayed here several times before, and we keep coming back for the peaceful surroundings and the wonderful friendly assistance that the owners (Kadek and Wayan) always provide. The rooms are big, clean and airy, the gardens are beautiful, the pool is a delight and we just love...

This is my fourth time staying at Gerebig, and there are always other repeat visitors who like me see the place as a home away from home. The owners and staff are invariably warm and welcoming. The rooms I have stayed in are well priced, simple, spacious, clean and in lovely surroundings...including lush gardens, a tiny rice field and a...
