We stayed at Bliss Ubud Abangan for 3 nights on our first trip to Bali and fell in love with this beautiful place! The rooms with views overlooking the rice paddy fields are breathtaking. Good WiFi reception. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Air-conditioning and ceiling fan keep you nice and cool. Lovely balcony to enjoy the delicious daily breakfast. Pool is great to swim in and relax after a long day sight seeing. The staff are friendly, helpful and very attentive during your stay. Will go our of there way to make you comfortable and enjoy your stay. Bottled water provided daily, and place is very reasonably priced for the location which is very central to ubud downtown, sightseeing and loads of good resteraunts. Very quiet relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait to return to bali and stay here again:-) Highly recommend the Bliss Ubud Abangan

Me and my friends stayed at Bliss from 05/06-08/06/2022. The hotel/resort was really beautifully presented and designed. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Infinity pool, I found good to swim into. Food can be a hit and miss. The spa has been great. My friends loved it. Room attendants has been great. Only rated it 3 due to the bad experience we had on our last night. The place was fully booked and my mates' room was leaking and my shower would randomly leak. They ran out of some of ingredients for some items on the menu. I was really disappointed with the pasta aglio e olio due to lack of parsley that was instead replaced with capsicums and no garlic on site. Ι loved making that pasta and I know what the ingredients are. Me and my friends are glad we left at that time otherwise we would have turned our blissful stay into a nightmare. Specifically after ordering pasta aglio e olio I've been wary ordering Western food there so I stuck with Indonesian food

Just stayed here in a villa with my wife for Nyepi (Balinese day of silence) First impressions of the villa was nice but as a travel agent I tend look around more than most and was slightly disappointed, towels had holes in them with blood stains, asked to change towels and was told we would be charged to change them. The bathtub looks like it hasn't been cleaned with stains all over. No drinking water was available so had to go out to find water before everything closed for Nyepi or we wouldn't of had drinking water for over 24 hours. The pool is the most disappointing with the water a brownish colour, we can see the next villas pool and the water & pool is clean. I agree with another review of the photos are very different to what you see when you get here (villas) They must use least used villa for photos, if you do stay and they put you in the first villa ask to change straight away. Maybe this is down to the pandemic and normally very good, so I will come again (different villa) sometime this year and do another review. I must say the staff and especially the catering staff were really, polite, nice and helpful. Although the villa was slightly disappointing, the grounds were beautiful, lush, green and well maintained and well worth a walk around. If they improve the villas, I would recommend. A real and honest review.

Hotel was clean, but looked completely different to pictures, great position close to everywhere. Ordered American breakfast and we both left the breakfast on the patio and went out three mornings for breakfast elsewhere. Went into the bathroom one night to see cockroaches running behind the tiles in the shower. I don't think it's worth the money.

I found this place in Booking.com and am so glad that I did. Only 8 rooms, very small boutique property located on a laneway only accessible by foot or moped, but close enough to the main road. There are no lifts and the highest rooms are on the third floor. I personally wouldn’t recommend the property for kids and I didn’t think there would be much for them to do there, but there was a family staying with two kids who seemed like they were having a ball. The breakfast em is served to your room each day and you can eat it on the balcony while overlooking the lush garden and infinity pool, or rice fields accross the way. The room was exceptionally clean, with a huge bathroom and shower, we had a bath as well which we didn’t use as we were too busy exploring. The hotel was able to organise a moped hire for us, and we explored the laneway and discovered a short cut to our favourite pub street! The hotel is located so close to Ubud Palace and markets that we could walk anywhere we needed to go, but after climbing Mount Batur we were feeling lazy so we got a scooter. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again but would recommend booking as early as possible, with only 8 rooms I’m sure they would sell out quickly. There is also an I house spa which unfortunately we didn’t have time to check out.

Absolutely loved it here - it’s small & very quiet - and the view onto both the pool/garden and into the rice field is beautiful! Great place to relax in Ubud. Lovely staff, nice breakfast served on your gorgeous balcony - my room had a nice big bathtub as well. Felt very spoiled here! Truly a hidden gem!

Lovely boutique hotel just on the outskirts of town. This hotel offered a peaceful oasis within a few hundred metres of the bustling town. The pool is beautiful. Everything was clean and very well decorated. The balcony was a lovely place to relax.

We have stayed in the hotel for three nights! The hotel was value for money.. we have a room next to the swimming pool! Location was great 5min walking to the the Campuhan Ridge Walk and another 10min to the Palace. Breakfast was delicious and served in our room. There was a variety to choose from traditional breakfasts such as Balinese-Indonesian & American.. (please note that you have to ask in the reception one day before about the type of breakfast and the time that you would like to be served.) Bathroom was huge with shower & a large stone bath to relax in after a day of sightseeing. Staff were lovely & smiling all the time. High speed internet in the room and the lobby of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We booked one day before arriving because my boyfriend changed his flight and wanted to come to Bali with me. We got the best room: highest and best view of the rice field. Also we could look down to the pool. We had some issue to find the hotel so the airport driver called them and they helped out. The way to the hotel is not easy to walk with luggage. The hotel is in a small "street"/way and nature is close but also you can take a short walk and are in the middle of Ubud with all its places like restaurants, sights etc.. The room was clean which I really loved because on Bali I visited many hotels and also 5 star hotels did not have clean linen and towels. But this room was clean! Bed was comfortable and the view from bed, balcony and bathroom awesome. We had a nice shower and a bathtube. I recommend to try their beauty products in the bathroom like soap and shower stuff because it smells so good. Never had such great products before and after! The personal was also really nice: they gifted us food for welcome and asked us if we are happy or if they can do anything. But we were perfectly happy because everything was great. Breakfast was bought to the balcony - you can order on the previous day what you like they have some choice for you and on your prefered time they come to serve the breakfast on your balcony. It was very delicious breakfast! (Try the banana pancakes). One day when we came back my boyfriend suddenly felt week and fell down the stairs in front of me. The personal saw it and run to us to help him and that was good because I wouldn't be able to help him stand up alone. Terima kasih! We enjoyed our time there and would visit again. I even tried to come back but at this time they were fully booked so I had to choose another place.
