This Resort offers quiet stay + good views at the back yard of the premises. It has several swimming pools but the Infinity pool facing the greenery was superb. The room was ok but the breakfast was not. We just stayed for one night. it was so quiet at nights. That time the were only 2 rooms occupied. we didn't try the foods at the resto; only the breakfast with very limited choices of local foods.

I visited Beji Ubud hotel during the pandemic. However, it turns out to be the best decision I made in 2020. The hotel has 5 swimming pools, the best one is the one that has view of forests and feels like we are swimming above the cliff. When I swim there (5 times in 3 days), there was only me. It does feel like a private swimming pool. If you want to feel at peace, and close to the nature, this is the place you should go to. I'd recommend you go on weekdays and hopefully you'd get the pool for yourself. Trust me and thank me later. The staffs are very kind and informative. The location is near a 24 hour minimart and few restaurants, when you at the gate just go left. You'll find many restaurants and cafe which are very affordable. The room service provides affordable foods like noodles, pasta, burger, rice in case you're too lazy to go out. The room is SO big and not old, if you want a bathtub, they have it too! That was the first thing I did when I arrived. The shower has water heater. The bed is kinda ok, not complaint about it tho. But man, the pools you should try! I love love it.

We stayed for one night, the staff were excellent, the views and pools amazing, the breakfast lovely, overall a great spot. The room we stayed in however could have done with a little bit of a spruce up but that shouldn't detract you as it was comfortable and clean. Overall a great spot. Did I mention the pools...

Lots of pros listed below. Would I stay here again though, no... I would try a nice quiet private villa from Airbnb with a bit more luxury... (Tip, don’t book too far in advance, there’s so much accomodation here and last minute deals - get something better or get the low end ones like Beji at a more reasonable price. Although busy season had finished I was totally unaware and booked at a regular/higher rate which has probably influenced my review). Pros: Great infinity pool with a view. Good popular kids pool in the middle of the resort next to the restaurant. Rooms have basic/expected amenities including soap, towels, pool towels, umbrellas, clean linen, tooth brush with mini toothpaste, fridge, en-suite, and safe. Air conditioning. Nothing is luxurious though so expect basic. (Tip - BYO shampoo and conditioner). Staff are lovely. (Tip - Talk slow and repeat if they don’t understand, not many are great with English). Reception happily help with requests, tours and any other bookings. Lumbung family duplex was so unbearable they upgraded us to another duplex on the jungle side of the resort. SO much better. Has 2 bathrooms to shower in! Rooms a bit more modern and no busy road noise!!!! You MUST ask for the jungle side not a garden room. Cons: The Lumbung Family duplex feels like a highway motel or chalet in a caravan park. Busy road, super loud at all times. Smells damp. One shower and bath downstairs, no vanity or bench to place toiletries. Main bathroom Powerpoint didn’t work, no hairdryer. Ensuite upstairs is just a toilet and sink. Minimal furniture for family seating. Literally just a crash pad. Expectation v Reality: Don’t get too excited about the 5 pools. 2 are great for different purposes (mentioned above in pros)... But as for the other 3, 1 is along the garden path to and between peoples rooms and is more like a small kiddies pool or display water feature. Not private or commonly used. Another is also small and at the front of someone else’s room and not a common place used among guests. The third next to the lumbung double storey duplexes looks great, but is next to the staff quarters. Again, not comfortable swimming here with heavy foot traffic passing by between cleaning rooms, maintenance and pruning the gardens.
