I love Soka family and this place, I always come back and stay here whenever I visit Ubud. First of all, Soka and Wayan's hospitality is excellent. The room is clean and has enough space, a big comfortable bed, a large bathroom, of course has free Wi-Fi. It is quiet because their homestay does not face the big road, even though we can go to the center of the town on foot. 2 rooms on the 3rd floor were new opened in this August, we can enjoy such a great view from the room and the terrace. Their garden is also nice and lovely, we can enjoy the beautiful garden view from the 1st floor. Many thanks for wonderful days this time as well!!! I am sure to be back next time as well!!!

Access through dirty public foodpad. Proprety it self looks good. For the moment only 2 rooms on the ground floor. 4 others on floors under construction. Helpfull staff=owner+wife, but not all the time somebody there and that is not conveniant. Bed OK, wifi OK, breakfast simple but OK. Price/quality very OK.

Thanks to Made Soka for her kindness and sense of hospitality. She has created a beautiful place as gracefull as her dance.(She is a dancer from a Balinese artist family). Garden is charming with birds in the morning. Rooms are classy with a Zen touch. Tea and coffee all day long. Excellent breakfast. We recommend.

This small guesthouse is an amazing place to stay at in Ubud. The location is perfect, close to the city center, but away from all the noise. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast is super good, don’t go without trying the banana pancakes. The host is very welcoming, helps you with anything you need and spends time with the guests trying to learn more about the different cultures. Highly recommended for low budget travellers. So far they only have 2 rooms, but are expanding shortly to the second and third floor with great views.

This homestay definitely deserves a 10/10 rating! The family is awsome, really nice and extremely helpful. The building is very new and the room is comfortable and super clean with new furniture and amazing mattress. The bathroom is big and there is also hot water in the in the shower. In front of the room there is a green yard. The breakfast is also really great with a lot of fruits and perfect banana pancake or eggs. During the day there is also always hot water for tea and coffee. In this homestay you feel more like a family member than like a guest ;) Wonderful place! It is really worth it!

I stayed there from the end of August till beginning of September 2017 for 2 weeks, that experience was wonderful and gave me a lot of good memories. Especially Soka and her family members were very kind, caring and friendly. The room was clean and hygienic, the location was very good for walking and looking around Ubud area, 7 min walk to Ubud Palace and Jl. Monkey forest, 10 min walk to Ubud market. I'd like to come back to Soka Homestay again in my next trip to Ubud.
