I booked 3 rooms thru a tour company for my party, but the showers in our rooms were moldy. My son went ahead to book at another hotel in the middle of the night. I had a headache waking up, I believe, due to the inhalation of the mold, so we went ahead to look for another hotel. The manager refused to give a refund but would let us exchange rooms. If 3 of our rooms are not sanitary, what can we expect of other rooms? We are disappointed with the service. I would think the manager should be responsible by giving us a choice of a refund. After all, it is the hotel's responsibility to provide clean rooms for all the guests, instead of just several rooms. The hotel has the CHSE certification sticker pasted on the glass door too. I was wondering if that sticker is just bought and stuck to the door or did the hotel really earn the certification. When I asked about the refund (I booked for 2 nights, asking for 1 day refund), the manager said that I needed to talk to the tour company since I booked the hotel thru the company, and his management has communicated about the refund with the owner of the tour. Little did he know that I have a close relationship with the owner of the tour, so I knew the owner of the tour would not lie to me. When I asked the owner of the tour, I was informed that MaxOne hotel management has not contacted her at all. So, instead of fixing their irresponsibility of providing unclean rooms, the hotel management added another fault.....and that is lying to the customers!!! What an unprofessional business!! Apparently, MaxOne does not care for the health and comfort of the customers. I would advise that you look elsewhere for your stay. …

The room is a bit small but the staff is very friendly and the service exceptional. Not a great big variety of breakfast choice but delish nonetheless. The locations is within walking distance to everything. The roads are crazy for access but doable. No fridge in the room.

Maxone hotel, located at jalan Pengosekan, ubud, bali. This 2-3 star hotel, it's nice hotel, it has rooftop resto and small swimming pool. The room is spaces, clean, tidy, colourful, emenity, tea/coffee maker, comfort bed/pillows, linen, and sofa.

Stayed here with a tour for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Rooms were massive and shower was great. Rooftop Pool and Bar is where we spent most of our time. Hotel is very modern. Our rate came with breakfast which didn't have lots of Western options so could be improved. Also drink prices at the hotel bar were a bit spenny.

Back here after 3 years, although its just one night, same good service friendly staff. For breakfast menu , the quality is worse than 3 years ago but its ok for budget hotel. I need the "EGG STATION" Over all the quality of service is the same as 3 years ago

a comfortable and clean hotel to rest in ubud, close to everywhere. can walk to monkey forest, and around the hotel there is a good cafe. safe and comfortable, the staff is also friendly and very helpful. the check-in system is also very fast, you come at 12 noon, you can immediately get a room, breakfast is also very good, even if it's modest. had left soap and the staff immediately put it back until we came and took it. very satisfied staying here.

This Hotel is nothing less but outstanding, both the surroundings of the hotel and the service is simply good,The room is nicely decorated the bathroom is large and beautiful but the shower is a bit old but very functional.All was running really well.Thank you for your hospitality.

Just the right hotel i needed at the moment, minimalistic bedroom with a monkey concept touch. They also provide all day dining rooftop and swimming pool, enough for me who were looking for a accommodation for sleeping only. The check in and check out process was really easy and quick

We had problems with the reception, had to wait more than 20 minutes to check in without any other customer present, many apologies even though the room was ready. Problems with the lift that was made to work only from reception through the use of a key but no one told us about this. We were on the third floor and we had to shout at the reception to activate the lift so we could call it, once we got blocked inside and the emergency phone did not work we had to use our mobile to call reception that activated it, and if we had no mobile ?? At almost finished breakfast, poor breakfast the minimum of the minimum, they asked us to move table, we were the only customers in the restaurant, because that table was reserved for staff meeting. No toilet paper In the room and also towels including shower soap. Other minor problems that I don't waste time listing. Not going back…
