My husband and I visited the Elephant Safari in Ubud. I was sceptical because I wasn't sure how the elephants would be treated, but I wanted to see for myself. We got there for an early morning visit and were taken down towards the elephants who were chained up by their ankles in their own individual little pods. They were...

We stayed for two nights at the Elephant Safari Park Lodge and loved our visit there. The Lake View room we had booked was very nice but too noisy for us, so we were upgraded to a Park View room. This is definitely the room to book, a bit pricy but worth the money. It was the most peaceful experience...

We didn't stay at the hotel but did a half day trip which arrived early in the morning just in time to bathe and wash the elephants. The most amazing experience ever. Such gentle creatures.. after this we got to have breakfast and watch the elephants. I was very iffy about riding them with the seats attached (bathing with them...

This was definitely the most memorable tour we did on our honeymoon and the one we usually bring up first when discussing our time in Bali. We stayed at a villa in Seminyak and it was about a 1.5 hour drive to get there, but it was entirely worth it. We used Bali Bliss and they brought us there, then...

We absolutely loved our experience there, the staff was very friendly and it was really fun riding and feeding the elephants. My daughter was chosen to help with the elephant show which made it even more special for her.

We went early (7:30 a.m. arrival) to do the cleaning the elephants and swimming with the elephants. I think that's possible until 9 a.m. A bit pricey, but quite en experience. You have to be ready to swim in a bit smelly pond with some elephant dung floating around (they try to clean as much as they can) but it's...

Amazing day, we chose the breakfast and bathe session, we was staying elsewhere in Ubud and they came and picked us up, we then got to wash and swim with the elephants which was an amazing experience... feeding the elephants was also fun however by this time a lot more people had arrived so was a little crowded. Buffet breakfast...

Now if you want to do something different I would recommend the bathing of the elephants (Bali tours), it is approx. 90 mins drive to the preserve of elephants, these elephants have been rescued from other parts of the country. Now it is an early morning as pick up at the Trans hotel ( 0600 hrs) and then the circus...
