sania's house is set just behind the market and not far from Ubud palace in a quite pedestrian side street. the entrance is a bit concealed but once you step in you discover yourself in another world. the bungalows are in typical Ubud style, it seems to be in a temple. The pool is lovely and refreshing, maybe a bit...

Great place to stay in Ubud. Situated right among the markets but yoi would never know. Beautiful accommodation set in a temple like environment. I had a basic room for 15 pounds a night which was fine. Staff were friendly and I would go back

We enjoyed our stay but found the breakfasts were not palatable with green-tasting bananas and poor coffee. The shower nozzles are too short to reach the hanging hook so we had to squat and shower. Tub drained slowly and there was no curtain. Other than these issues it's a good hotel with especially quiet and beautiful grounds. Staff and their...

Not sure that I would visit Ubud again but if i did, I would certainly want to stay at Sania's House. Centrally located but off the main roads, though it is solidly situated in a thriving market area. Cab driver wasn't certain about location and it is not necessarily easy to drive up to so you may have to unload...

Sania's bungalows are a stones throw from the bustling Ubud markets, but once you step through the gates of the extended family compound, you enter another world. Ornate balinese buildings, lush gardens, and a tranquil pool area insulate you from the hustle and bustle happening right outside. Friendly staff (from the large family that live here), comfortable rooms, hot flasks...

The place is right at the market in central ubub. Its clean, the people are friendly, your tea or coffee is on your table when you wake up. Although construction was done while we were there, there where no loud noises. We had a simple room in the back. The ones who are higher up are a little more in...

Myself and a friend stayed her for 3 nights and thought it was fantastic. The staff were really helpful and friendly! The best thing about Sania was it's location- right in the centre of Ubud town, near to everything, especially the market! The Balinese style was fantastic and made the stay even better. The only downfall was the breakfast wasn't...

This is a lovely traditional balinese compound setting with the hotel rooms set out the back...lots of rooms and room prices to chose from - i went for the budget fan and cold water only. The pool looked unclean unfortunately (very green looking) but i swam in it anyway when i was hot. Stayed two nights. Would stay again because...

We stayed for a week at this spectacle of wonder. We did feel the need to upgrade to a air condoned room that was higher with more light than our initial down below room. The upgrade cost was minor compared to the significant improvement in the room. Sania's house is a multilevel wonderland of architecture and decoration. Tucked down a...

Gorgeous architecture, lovely big bungalows with amazing wooden furniture, tropical garden and a yummy breakfast served on your balcony. Excellent location and friendly staff. Only downside for me was the pool - it was murky and green and surrounded by workmen most of the time we were there, so you couldnt really relax beside it if you wanted to. There...
