Nice place for relaxing in Ubud. Clean and careful details. We had a anoying noise problem in Biru house with the kitchen's compresors that was behind the room. Inmediatlly the staff was very helpfully and change the room for another better. Breakfast was perfect and the staff too.

Bambu Indah is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed! This is not accomodation, it is an experience, and one worth having. Make sure you head down to their natural pools by the river. We lay by the main pool (which is beautiful also) with no idea of how incredible it would be by the river. The staff...

we have just returned from another wonderful 4 night stay at Bambu Indah. this time in cute Biru house, and we weren't disappointed. The houses, the fantastic staff, the food, the absolutely magical setting, the ethic, Diane was more than helpful ,obliging and arranged everything to make our stay perfect. Sad to read the review about recent visitors to Udang...

My husband and I had booked to stay at the Bambu Indah, particularly because we were extremely excited to stay in the Udung House with the glass bottom. There was only one night available for it so we planned our Bali itinerary so that we would land in Ubud for this night. Upon arrival, everything was as we had imagined....

The grounds are magnificent, with incredible views of the rice fields, plenty of unique and comfortable places to relax, running streams, etc. The room was nice, but definitely more outdoorsy than expected. We stayed in the Udang House, and the bathroom has a partial roof over the sink/toilet but not over the shower. There were definitely lots of bugs! Just...

To be fair it is a fantastic location and its clear they've put a lot effort making the place feel authentic. The staff are very friendly and the old huts are very interresting. The food is pretty good there and it seems to be popular with the local expat groups. The rooms are old java huts which have been rebuilt,...

A wonderful unique experience, the 2 main bamboo structures are just beautiful!! The little houses (rooms) are rustic but so cute, don't expect 5 star luxury. The price is a bit steep for what you get though. The pool is more like a black pond with little fish and frogs. There are great walks from the property through rice fields...

Truly a unique beautiful "hotel" of sorts with gorgeous antique Javenese 100 year old huts/houses. Every bespoke hut is individually decorated with beautiful antiques and gorgeous textiles. The bed in Padi is over the top romantic (too bad I was with my kids ;). I heard the Afrika house is a favorite. I also stayed in the Elora/Orin house which...

It's been just over 12 months since we have been here and there has been much change. New ground floor massage rooms with beautiful peaceful views. Elevator to the river. A cinema room A bar now, and the pool area has been pimped up with more seating ( chairs and cushions) it is now a chilled out relaxing area. The...

Overall impression was that it’s a bit over hyped. Definitely expensive for the service you’ll get, everything cost extra, extra cup of coffee or extra lash of bacon at breakfast, $20 guided morning walk, usually these things are included or offered with complimentary at hotels of similar price range. No coffee / tea in rooms and very uncomfortable tiny beds....
