I recently stayed solo at Bambu Indah for over a week with the intention of quietly recharging in a peaceful location, and this environment and the BI team delivered this so well for my stay. BI is designed in a simple and organic way, with wild gardens and vegetation, swimming ponds and it is inspired in its endeavours to allow...

I think this is one of the most fantastic places i have stayed in ever. Very creative and imaginative, so different from a any other hotel. The buildings are superb, all historic, so beautifully crafted, the bamboo structures really breathtaking. We stayed in the Udang cottage, with the glass floor and water under. Totally superb. It is true that the...

LOVED our stay at Bambu Indah, only wished we had stayed more than one night! It is truly a unique, serene environment - definitely the highlight of our trip to Bali. The atmosphere of the place is magical, the food from the farm is incredible and the service is great. An awesome bambu elevator brings you to an incredible peaceful...

A truly unique experience. The 'pond' was great to swim in with its 'Tarzan' swing, the food was AMAZING from breakfast to dinner and very accommodating for a fussy 4 year old. The rooms are not the usual rooms you would expect but go with an open mind and you will surely enjoy the beauty of it. Take the time...

It was the most serene places I have ever been. It was rustic and jungly - no plastic at all - but the service was very personal. My husband and I stayed in Udang House for our honeymoon and there was mosquito netting around the bed. Someone would come in to drop it for us in the evenings while we...

This is definitely what you would call a natural, eco-friendly retreat. Some advice… If you are a female going alone DO NOT, repeat DO NOT stay in Kolam House, which is one of the villas. It looks fabulously rustic in the day and is like a haunted house at night! It's the first time since my childhood that I had...

Went their last night on a recommendation to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We were welcomed with cocktails on their beautiful terrace overlooking rice terraces at sunset, the led to our tabke which was strewn with candles and flower, took our breath away. After the best meal we had in Indonesia, they brought us a whole cake they had baked for...

Place is beautiful and definitely designer styled. Designer rustic chic cabinesque glamping style with Java antique teak houses and separate yet attached bathroom with slit flooring and open windows with curtains. We had a frog get in our room at night which caused some commotion, lol. Although beautiful, we were a little disappointed that we came when maintenance was going...

This place is amazing! From the cool little huts to the natural swimming pool its perfect. The food was some of the best we had in Ubud and the service was just right. Attentive but not over the top. Walk down to the river, its beautiful and its nice exploring on the way. 10/10

My husband and I held our wedding at Bambu Indah for an intimate gathering of 30 people and it was simply phenomenal! I can't begin to describe the magic of this place, but I'll try: Everything from the natural pools, to the organic food, to the views, to the historic bungalows, went above and beyond our very high expectations. But...
