Our entire stay at Villa Semana was fabulous. They made us feel special with every encounter. They made it a point to call us by name every time they addressed us. Our room was superb with our own pool and truly spectacular view. Iw was a two bedroom but the one bedroom with pool are better. The service is tops and the restaurant great for breakfast but not too special for dinner. This place is worth every penny. don't miss the spa by the river, its quite unforgettable. the masaje mainly relaxing.

Wow, what an incredible hideaway jungle retreat. The villa was nice and functional but didn’t blow me away but we had a private pool and the retreat itself was spectacular. Out of the 9 villa only 4 were occupied so we pretty much had the infinity pool to ourselves which overlooked the jungle and river. Good shuttle service in to Ubud and reasonably priced. A really good quiet location with plenty of space and a beautiful spa by the river. Recommended

Gorgeous villa and grounds which were immaculate. Lovely staff and enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant overlooking the river! Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely highly recommend!

Villa Semana was a peaceful oasis in Ubud. It's a short drive from the town centre. Located in the midst of rice fields, where the air is fresh. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. Especially the staff providing breakfast. The breakfast choices are brilliant and everything is freshly made for you. The villa was a nice size, with a small pool, our view overlooked the rice fields. There is a shuttle service which picks and drops you off from villa to ubud town. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

excellent staff and location could not do enough, we had ajoining villa full of young australians playing music to none acceptable levels and shouting abuse at us , also shouting and screaming to early hours of morning talking about what drugs they had taken we as a family lost 3 nights sleep and we didnt come to paradise for this , feel more could have been done and well let down .

Location, location. Set in beautiful gardens overlooking the Agung River. Quiet and relaxing. Only went into Ubud once and that was enough - too busy. This hotel is only small and suits people looking for a relaxing holiday. Massages at the Spa down by the river were very good.

If you want to relax and avoid crowds this is the place. Very kind staff; excellent food (although breakfast doesn’t include many things I have found it enough); view to river and forest and many geckos (we love them, so small and make a cute sound... and they eat insects!) Do not expect top modern facilities nor tv in your room, at least mine didn’t have one. The center is more less 15 mins by car, but they provide free shuttle. There is nothing reachable by foot that is worth checking except for the beautiful rice fields right next to the vilas. These people do really care for you and will do the best they can to make you happy.

Villa Semana is a little drive from Ubud (not walkable) between the jungle and rice fields just above the river. Our villa had a private pool, delightful both night and day, when we could watch the rafters float by below us. Everything was lovely and romantic. Beautiful gardens surround the villas, and the main infinity pool overlooks the jungle and river. The restaurant (Pondok) was wonderful and the staff were very gracious, helpful and accommodating. So quiet and serene, we loved hearing the sounds of the jungle and watching the many butterflies, dragonflies and frogs in the garden as we did yoga on our private patio. Spa massage was great too.
