What a beautiful resort. The breakfast was amazing the best I have had in Bali. We had a pool access room which made the biggest difference kids could just jump in from the room. The tree bar was fantastic great food and drinks. We rode the resort bikes every morning along the beach path.

We stayed in Maya through the Luxury Escapes deal for 5 nights which included daily breakfasts, lunch or dinner. We had a double room which was luxurious with 2 double beds and 2 bathroom basins. Excellent breakfast with a good selection, lunch and/or dinner menus could be improved. Lovely ambience and outstanding staff which makes your stay much more enjoyable.

This review is about the Maya wellness spa and yoga studio as unfortunately I didn’t stay at the gorgeous hotel this time. Wonderful experience. Loved the classes and the instructors. I was lucky enough to do several 7am classes as well as other classes throughout the day during my 1 week stay in Sanur. I had researched the wellness studio prior and bought their class pass which was really easy and reasonable. Loved every moment. I loved the meditation class with Baba Ginan in particular. It was a moving experience and I felt like I really connected with something spiritual! Some classes were inside the studio, some on the roof overlooking the beach! So amazing. A big thank you and shout out to all the instructors who were so knowledgeable and amazing but also the staff in the spa who were so polite and helpful and friendly! The spa area was so tranquil and wonderful! Highly recommend using the spa facilities of the Maya and the delicious food and drink in the Tree Bar even if you don’t get to stay here just like I did!!

Beware of this hotel, great rooms nice pool. BUT, the food is very poor, cold and sometimes inedible. The all inclusive drinks are the worst we have ever had, not branded, wine, white rose and red and all horrible. The beer is the cheapest slop in the area, we found this pot when we went to the shop to buy some decent beer. Only the rooms have air conditioning, all public spaces including the restaurant have no air conditioning. Finally, last orders for drinks is 9.30 !!!!!

We stayed at this hotel last week, it was part of a package we had, and this hotel was the last stop. Our first impressions were very good. We had upgraded our rooms to Impressive Lagoon suite, they were beautiful rooms with a lot of nice touches. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. For Lunch and Dinner you could choose from an A la carte menu which was very good, if somewhat very limited. The food from the buffet was more or less the same every other day and 90% of the time cold and inedible. The All inclusive drinks package ceased at 9.30 in the evening which is totally unacceptable. Apart from the bedrooms, there are no other rooms with Air Conditioning, which in a climate of 90% humidity and a constant 38c temperature you have no where to sit in a comfortable environment to enjoy a drink or a meal. We travelled via Maldives & a cruise from Singapore with Imagine cruises had 7 nights at this hotel away for 28 days in total. We were all inclusive with Imagine and although we arrived around 10am they allowed us to have drinks and lunch straight away. Our rooms were ready, as promised, at 2pm. We had a nest suite on the 4th floor and it definitely had the WOW factor, huge room and bathroom with large balcony. Nice quiet room with regular service, ice and fresh milk available on request. Pool was spotless, 1.2m deep and like a warm bath. Beds were in demand but get up at 8 to ensure the best location. You don’t have to worry about getting up for a drink, they bring a push button switch and respond in seconds to take your order. The all inclusive food is somewhat limited but numerous bars and restaurants should you fancy a change. The bar does have last orders at 9:30pm but you can order extra and we usually stayed up until 11pm and in fact it was nice to get a few early nights following our binge drinking on the ship. Local spirits & beers as usual due to import tax. 8 of us hired a mini bus with driver for the day, cost £90 did coffee plantation, monkey forest, lunch, waterfall and temple. You MUST do similar best day of the trip. The sea is warm but full of seaweed which is cleared daily but is back again the next day. The staff are amazing, always smiling and going out of their way to serve you. A truly magical place, book B&B tho as breakfast was the food highlight of the day.

Our holiday was supposed to be all inclusive at this resort. It took three days to resolve the problems between the Hotel and Imagine Cruising There was much confusion regarding the supposed all inclusive element of the holiday. When this, was eventually resolved things improved, but the bar shut at 9:30 pm just as our evening was getting started. The rooms at Hotel very good, but the rest of the facilities are very limited. the resort is advertised as luxury five star it’s certainly not. The sunbeds around the pool are old and in very poor condition. When we had heavy rain in the evening the restaurant looked like a local community hall which had been converted because of a disaster. The staff are the best to make up . but generally for us not worth the money we paid to stay there.

This hotel is 5 star luxury. The rooms are amazing, totally stylish and modern and huge bathroom with his and her basin we loved it. staff are the best, love the little buzzer on your sunbed for drinks or food they will bring to you. Lovely pools never struggled for a sunbed. Great location on the beach although not the best beach. The food is great lots and lots of choices. Lots to do surrounding hotel bars restaurants etc but not megga noisy like Kuta. We came in January rainy season no rain as yet and it’s boiling hot 90 degrees plus humidity. Take mosquito spray as it’s very lush and green in the gardens.

Dear annetteh692, Thank you so much for staying and sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our 5-star luxury hotel. It's fantastic to know that you found our rooms stylish, modern, and spacious, with the added luxury of the his and her basin in the bathroom. Our team takes great pride in providing exceptional service, and we're delighted that you found them to be the best. We're glad you appreciated the convenience of the buzzer on your sunbed for ordering drinks or food – it's all about making your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We're pleased that you found our pools enjoyable and that you never had trouble finding a sunbed. Our location on the beach offers a great setting, even if it's not the best beach around. It's wonderful to hear that you found plenty of dining options and activities nearby without the hustle and bustle of Kuta. We've taken proactive measures by setting up mosquito repellents and sprays in every room as a precaution. Additionally, we've implemented a routine misting and spraying program throughout the resort to further deter mosquitoes We hope to welcome you back soon for another fantastic stay! Best regards, I Putu Eddo Arthawan Resort Manager

Came here with imagine cruising and beware all inclusive is not quite as inclusive as it sounds. Drinks only served with lunch and dinner and then limited choice. Food in buffet restaurant is limited to rice and 1 or 2 choices, which are cold (supposed to be hot). No bread or chips with lunch or dinner so if you don’t like rice you’re pretty much out of luck! This trip wasn’t cheap but feel like the choices here are more like a coach holiday offering. Shambles
