Don't be fooled by the hotel's photos This place is discusting. Look at the photos I took this villa should be demolished. We also complained about the rat droppings On the bed. How these people can allow guests to be misled is shameful. In my opinion these premises is a health hazard.
I usually travel on a budget, and choose to spend my money wisely. The hotel isn't quite as good as the photos! But it isn't as bad as some of the negative reviews from 2016... We're here in February of 2020. The staff is attentive. The included breakfast is tasty and well portioned. I had three star expectations and they meet or exceed my expectations. I'm here for the scuba diving and not for the spas and pampering. I can come back here for the 24 USD/night I paid via Orbitz. My daughter and wife want me to add these two notes: It is quiet (my 39 year old daughter). And it is safe behind a 24 hour manned security gate (my wife).
Would I stay here again - Probably not. There are some really good things about this hotel, and some bad. The breakfast was good , as well as coffee, and the staff were really good considering all the people like me asking stupid questions. We turned up at 1:00 pm off a ferry, and was told check in was not until 2:00 pm. Given that November is a quiet month, I found this very strange. When I next went down to let them know there were no hand towels I was informed that it was a rule, only 2 towels per room ! The room was actually OK, but what let it down was the bathroom. No plug in the basin, corroded / scaly shower head, slow draining water, and I did not want to go anywhere near the soap dispenser.
We stayed 3 nights after late arrival into DPS. Hotel arranged pick up for $20 and this was very convenient. Room was very comfortable. Being upstairs we had a secluded balcony. Wifi is in different areas and OK once you work out which one suits your location (not always the obvious one!). There is a beach access pass to allow you to walk through another hotel grounds. We didnt know it didnt include their private beach but fortune favours the brave! Breakfast at the hotel included different choices each day and these were OK. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Just aceoss road is Rib restaurant but see my separate review. The only critique I offered on check out was that bathrooms needed a minor refresh but otherwise perfect.
Nice hotel. Had a nice room with good working sanitary facilities and a bathtub. The rooms are fine and the location as well. The swimming pool however is really small. For breakfast you have a couple of option whick you have to choose the evening before. The portions are good but it's not really tasty.
Fantastic location and accommodation for the price. Very friendly and helpful staff who will give you a beach pass if requested that gives you access to a 3 minute walk to the beach. A fantastic breakfast is included in the price aa well as a swimming pool. You have many and varied restaurants to choose from as well as live music close by.
Unfortunately, we only stayed for 1 night; we wish we’d has more time here. We were upgraded (it was our honeymoon) to a lovely little villa with pool. The place was so tranquil and quiet and the staff were just lovely. Sanur itself should have a better reputation: we weren’t expecting much at all and were pleasantly surprised.
A gorgeous little place to stay. The rooms are really clean, private facilities, fridges and a great little entrance before your main door. The pool is good, the only negative is the pool chairs are in the sun most of the day, an umbrella next to them would help. Breakfast is included in the room price - a small selection but certainly adequate. AI will definitely be back to stay again.
This was a great budget stay well located in heart of Sanur next to Griya Santrian The rooms are equivalent to 3 star reasonably clean and the breakfast included is fair value but plain. Warning do not stay in upper levels it gets very hot and the aircon struggles . The ground floor rooms are better with a little outdoor annexe and also a back outside area. If you go to stay I recommend Sari Sanur Villas rooms 7 and 8 they are together and actually have a small private pool out front which is for your own use . Great value budget accommodation. My cost was $160 aud for both rooms per night ... one has a king bed the other has 2 king single beds good for family of 4 .
A great place with with a small sized villa type settings. The most important thing choice of restaurants nearby and beach at a walking distance. The only downside is the entrace as it feels kinda little small and gives you cavy feeling.
