Older property but well kept. I have read a lot of the previous reviews but my room was comfortable and clean . My AC was good and the shower was good with plenty of hot water. Being beach side is a plus as you get a nice sea breeze at your room on the balcony. I always look at properties subjectively and The Bali Hotel Industry has been through a-lot in the last 2 years. I live here in Bali in ubud so I have stayed at many hotels here over the last year of travels. The buffet breakfast was very good and I enjoyed, plus the service was very cordial and prompt. All in all for the price and the breakfast included it was a pleasant stay. If your wanting the Ritz or Intercontinental it’s not. But again for the price , the grounds and being beach side it’s a nice place to stay with a very competitive price. Within walking distance of many restaurants and an ATM right outside of the resort . Security also very good and ample for this property. 👌

Clearly this hotel, built in the 70s, was once very impressive. But today this is not the case. Our visit was June 22. Meaning not long after the world reopen post pandemic. So maybe the Prama was great back in 2018-2019. But when we visited it was a shadow of its former self. Everything needs maintenance. It’s old and used and does not look good any longer. None of the promised features such as tennis court was open. Except for a couple of dirty pools with worn down day beds. One out of four restaurants was open. Prices way above the average for the area. Breakfast buffet not impressive. Luckily we got a very good deal, otherwise it would have been a very big disappointment. The staff was very friendly and helpful though. Beware of old photos on hotels.com and booking.com.

The best location for what has been a wonderful hotel. Spent two days here over Ramadan so it was very busy . The check in process was not good as the door key would not work . The manager had to come up to let us in . It was late at night or i would not have stayed due to so much black mould on the ceiling of the hallway . I am an asthmatic and if the room itself had mould on the ceiling i wouldnt have stayed . We told the night manager who informed us the airconditioners had been leaking above the ceiling along the top of the wing we were staying in . He certainly didnt offer us an alternative. I dont think they should let anyone stay in this wing until it is fixed . I wont put a photo of it on this site but it was really horrific , it looked like big black mushrooms growing out of the ceiling the whole length of the wing . The hotel doesnt look like they have done any renovations at all which is ashame as it has been a very beautiful hotel in its prime . The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast by the sea . Lovely views and very nice to look out at the ocean . The bamboo lounge is also good with happy hour and live music . The new pizza restaurant is an added bonus with the pizzas being very good. The pools are great for kids , just needs some urgent attention to repairs . I would stay again if they repair the mould areas , otherwise i will look elsewhere for some not so toxic to health environments at the hotels i stay at .

what an amazing place to stay. Prama Sanur may be a hotel that is quite old. Indeed, almost all hotels in the Sanur area were old hotels because this is the beach that was first developed as a tourist spot long before Kuta. But this hotel still looks modern and super clean. Behind this hotel is connected to Sanur Beach. The children's pool is also pretty good. Children definitely like the pool. Front Office officers are also very friendly. I ask for help to print two documents for the purposes of the plane and they are kind enough to print it. The price of staying at this hotel is also quite cheap.

Despite some of the photos the rooms are like a mid range business hotel. On the first night after having seen a couple of swords along with my luggage they called up at 9pm to request them from me citing “sharp objects are not allowed in the room” as if it were an international flight or something. I was tired and not thinking and so when they came to the room I handed them over. In the morning I wanted them back but they told me they couldn’t find them. I was extremely angered by this because they had no right to take them in the first place. After quite some time going in and out of the storage room they finally “found them” in a place where I suspect they had just been returned while I was being distracted. Still however the front office manager took it upon herself to tell me that I was not allowed my items and started wrestling with me when I went to simply take them back. When I got back to the room I noticed that they had decided to blunt the ends of the swords. The staff had already been snubbish likely because I am transitioning m2f if you are LGBT I wouldn’t recommend this place. The wifi is terrible and it drops. I moved next door to the Puri Santrian.

Hotel is old and looking tired.. its so unfortunate too see a poorly maintained garden and some areas. Our room (#285) was very dusty making me breathless and sneezing, We finally requested to change room, thanks to Pak Made-duty manager for the quick response to our problem. Our new room (#488) has a better smell and cleaner, except the fridge was still dirty, but it doesn’t really matter for us as long as we’re able to sleep well. Food at breakfast was so so, but you can enjoy it with an ocean view right in front of you. Our kids spending lot of time at water park, they enjoyed so much.. the most matter is that the overall staff service is very good, its actually making us forget about all the inconveniences.. thanks..

Usually this place was already quiet, but during the pandemic it’s really really quiet. When I come they only operate the main building, the other wings was closed for efficiency. But for you who love calmness, this place was good. The room still well maintained and room service also still available, the hotel bar called bamboo bar only open until 9pm. But you may find another bar just in front of the hotel by walk. Forgot to bring slipper? Don’t worry they have it in your closet. The cons only some rooms have problem issued with the A/C controller, so the temperature didn’t measure well.

I was part of an organizing committee for a group meeting early October 2020. It was for a medium size participants however it required a lot of nitty gritty to be arranged well in advance and also last minute changes. We had numerous coordination meetings onsite and online and of course the execution during the event itself. During all of our encounters, the management team and staffs have consistently displayed a true hospitality while being direct on what can be done or things that are not available. This approach has saved us lots of time and resources leading to a successful and fruitful event. Mr. Suarya and Banquet team have been most helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too small to attend to, and too big to handle. Ow, by the way, the hygiene protocol is well thought and implemented for this huge resort with manicured garden, overlooking to a pristine beach of Sanur. The view is stunning, not to miss the sunrise too 🤩 Thank you, Prama Sanur team 🙏🏽
