what an amazing place to stay. Prama Sanur may be a hotel that is quite old. Indeed, almost all hotels in the Sanur area were old hotels because this is the beach that was first developed as a tourist spot long before Kuta. But this hotel still looks modern and super clean. Behind this hotel is connected to Sanur Beach. The children's pool is also pretty good. Children definitely like the pool. Front Office officers are also very friendly. I ask for help to print two documents for the purposes of the plane and they are kind enough to print it. The price of staying at this hotel is also quite cheap.
Despite some of the photos the rooms are like a mid range business hotel. On the first night after having seen a couple of swords along with my luggage they called up at 9pm to request them from me citing “sharp objects are not allowed in the room” as if it were an international flight or something. I was tired and not thinking and so when they came to the room I handed them over. In the morning I wanted them back but they told me they couldn’t find them. I was extremely angered by this because they had no right to take them in the first place. After quite some time going in and out of the storage room they finally “found them” in a place where I suspect they had just been returned while I was being distracted. Still however the front office manager took it upon herself to tell me that I was not allowed my items and started wrestling with me when I went to simply take them back. When I got back to the room I noticed that they had decided to blunt the ends of the swords. The staff had already been snubbish likely because I am transitioning m2f if you are LGBT I wouldn’t recommend this place. The wifi is terrible and it drops. I moved next door to the Puri Santrian.…
Hotel is old and looking tired.. its so unfortunate too see a poorly maintained garden and some areas. Our room (#285) was very dusty making me breathless and sneezing, We finally requested to change room, thanks to Pak Made-duty manager for the quick response to our problem. Our new room (#488) has a better smell and cleaner, except the fridge was still dirty, but it doesn’t really matter for us as long as we’re able to sleep well. Food at breakfast was so so, but you can enjoy it with an ocean view right in front of you. Our kids spending lot of time at water park, they enjoyed so much.. the most matter is that the overall staff service is very good, its actually making us forget about all the inconveniences.. thanks..
They have a happy hours in their beach bar Bamboo, so happy to be there! Nice clean beach and nice vibes with friendly staff! Come early to reserve best spot, cuz on weekends can be very busy! Fully recommended
Usually this place was already quiet, but during the pandemic it’s really really quiet. When I come they only operate the main building, the other wings was closed for efficiency. But for you who love calmness, this place was good. The room still well maintained and room service also still available, the hotel bar called bamboo bar only open until 9pm. But you may find another bar just in front of the hotel by walk. Forgot to bring slipper? Don’t worry they have it in your closet. The cons only some rooms have problem issued with the A/C controller, so the temperature didn’t measure well.
I was part of an organizing committee for a group meeting early October 2020. It was for a medium size participants however it required a lot of nitty gritty to be arranged well in advance and also last minute changes. We had numerous coordination meetings onsite and online and of course the execution during the event itself. During all of our encounters, the management team and staffs have consistently displayed a true hospitality while being direct on what can be done or things that are not available. This approach has saved us lots of time and resources leading to a successful and fruitful event. Mr. Suarya and Banquet team have been most helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too small to attend to, and too big to handle. Ow, by the way, the hygiene protocol is well thought and implemented for this huge resort with manicured garden, overlooking to a pristine beach of Sanur. The view is stunning, not to miss the sunrise too 🤩 Thank you, Prama Sanur team 🙏🏽…
Short stroll from the beach and walk/cycle path, plenty of fresh fish cafes and cheap massage huts (as long as you don’t mind scooters passing your feet and paddle boarders passing your head end). Good food and ample swimming pool facilities if that’s what you want. Bamboo Bar good for the evening - enjoyed the live reggae. Lots of over-wintering retired folk - quite different from the bronzed Aussies further along the coast. Highly recommended.
The hotel is located in such a great location, the staff is wonderful, the breakfast buffets are fantastic, the rooms are large, the pool is divine… However, the noise made the stay less than ideal. I stayed in three different Seaview rooms during three different visits between December and January. On one side of the hotel there is noise from the wood working factory that borders the hotel, on the other side there is noise from the kids pool. There’s also a loud DJ and band, and I mean super loud, that infringes on a quiet evening on the balcony. Also, the hotel was recommended to me because of their spa, but it was closed, without any notice of that fact on the website.
We were on a 2 week all-inclusive and our last 5 days was at this hotel. It was a really large,, 3 restaurant resort with two swimming pools, and a nice beach bar and cafe that played music on the beach most nights On my husbands' birthday, I prearranged the Italian restaurant to set up a few tables on the beach for our group and it was just wonderful, they made a beautiful flower arrangement for the table, and even baked us a vegan chocolate cake for the dinner.
I had previously stayed at the Prama in a ground floor ocean front room and loved it. Came back this time with my daughter of 3 and partner for our first Bali holiday. We spent our first two nights here and had so much fun we didn't even leave the resort. My daughter loved both pools. The staff were all so friendly. We hope to come back again and stay one day
