Really enjoyed my 2 days here. Beautiful grounds and Pool and very central location at the beach . Do to slow travel periods not many people here now but my stay was really peaceful. My room I stayed in one of the Bungalow Units and it was nice. Good bed and hot shower and good AC very cold and good internet. Everything I look for in a hotel. For the price including a good breakfast it was very nice hotel again with beautiful grounds. The hotel is older but very clean and neat Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sanur and wanting a central beach location 👍 👌

My husband and myself decided to spend the New Year in Bali for the first time. Besakih Beach Hotel was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Met many people who come back every year, some for the last 40, and stay at the Besakih. It is family owned and run, has the traditional Balinese look and feel and is very clean and tidy. Staff are so very friendly and extremely helpful. We had a situation with being cheated by a money changer. My husband went to the reception of the Besakih and explained everything to him and straight away he organised one of their security guards to go with my husband to get it all sorted out, and it was. I would definately stay here again. Is right on the beach. Loved swimming in the pool and also able to look out over the ocean.

Good rooms, amazing service in the rooms and restaurant and great massage for only $5AUD per 1/2 hour! Breakfast buffet was good. Sun beds on the beach were nice and shady. Gardens were incredible. Beachfront with great views and easy access to the beach pathway and street behind.

Can’t complain about anything here. Rooms are nice and staff are lovely. The manager Ricky asked how my morning was every day. The outdoor area is wonderful, gardens are all meticulously looked after and the ancient temple inspired pool by the beach is a great place to hang out all day with a few Bintangs.

The perfect place to escape to, tranquil gardens, traditional, stunning views. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Staff friendly, food delicious, cocktails perfect. Pool, pool bar, private beach, many little areas to relax in, library, chess, lounging on the beach under the umbrellas with a good book. Not to mention a short stroll down the beach to other eateries or markets, just outside the gate more food choices and a little shopping, transport. Besakih can arrange transport and sightseeing for you if you need/want. Do you need anything else?

Staying with my family 2 x 70 year olds and 3 teenagers and myself 42. Trying to find a place that caters for all ages and making the stay enjoyable for all isn't always easy. This place has it all.. relaxing and fun packed also. It's very quiet, 2 great pools that have rails and large steps to enter and exit the pool is great for my older parents. Swim up bar, and large enough for the kids ro spread out and swim. Beautiful view of the beach and board walk for some great people watching as they walk by. My mum is in a wheelchair, this place is amazing for wheelchair access, and can walk right along tge beack boardwalk with no hassel at all, some amazing bars, icecream, croissant and eaterys along the board walk, so mum could enjoy that too. However the rooms we had were step in bath/showers.. my mum had no problem, however you may have to ask if they have other options if this is a problem. Food is cheap and great. Most meals no more that $10AUD room service available too. The rooms are very worn, however very clean and for the price I had no problem with this... we basically only slept in there. No milk in the room, so grab some if you are like me and need a coffee when you wake up, however the included breakfast make a great cappuccino, while coffe and tea is included, the cappuccino is at an extra cost.. but I didn't mind at all. Water sports are located here too, so the teenagers had plenty to do. And the markets are great on the boardwalk for anyone that loves to Bali market shop! Money changer 100m from reception on thw main road offers secure exchange and a better rate than the hotel. Staff as in true Bali style is EXCEPTIONAL Private beach area with table service, banana lounges and umbrellas. Massage and nail services available at Besakih on their private beach area. Air conditioning works incredibly well as does the wifi Over all... will 100% come back the location is amazing! Rooms just need a revamp... but happy to pay such a low price for that small negative. Families will love this place!

We had the interconnecting bungalows near reception. 3 boys 16,11 and 5. Very convenient for us. Breakfast was limited but good nonetheless. Perfect location. Great pool. Drinks at the pool bar served ice cold, big plus for me. Plenty of great warung sos and food close by. And a pretty good wave out the front at the reef. Thank you, Robert for your friendly service. We will stay here again.

4 of us stayed here for 2 nights. It wasn’t great. This place is old, one of the oldest in Sanur and it shows it’s age! The rooms on the bottom floor are very dark and old fashioned. Even with lights on, they need brighter bulbs. Breakfast is ok, one of the waiters there, an older man, was very funny and had us laughing. The rest of the staff don’t have very good English. The pool was like swimming in a bath, too hot! And there never seemed to be anyone manning the swim up bar. Location was great. The beach just out front was so refreshing instead of the pool. It’s a shame they don’t spend some money on the place. Next time we will spend more money and stay at the Griya Santrian next door.

Loved our 4 night stay here for the location alone. Out one entrance is the boardwalk & beach & lots of restaurants. Out the other entrance, the streets of Sanur with everything you need. Whilst the room was a little dated (276), the bathroom was renovated & clean, mattress could probably be upgraded for better sleep quality. Pillows were fine. Bar fridge was cold, had tea/coffee making facilities but I didn’t use them. Bottles of water daily. Supplied beach towels. The breakfast was lovely, juices, tea & coffee, cereals, egg station (mixed omelette - yummy), bacon & toast. The only thing I hated was the main pool was so warm, like a spa bath almost. Thankfully there was another pool that was a lot cooler. It was nice to sit out beachside on the lounges in the ocean breeze. Staff were all lovely & friendly. Highly recommend getting up for sunrise - pure magic
