We came across Apel as we wanted to be away from the crowds and self sufficient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff were just amazing and could not do enough for us. Breakfast was included in the price and delivered every morning. We had a bedroom seperate huge comfy bed, bathroom, big kitchen, with a washing machine, lounge and breakfast bar. And a small balcony to hand the washing. Just a great place. The pool was large enough. The grounds surrounding the pool were well maintained.

We stayed at Apel Villa for 6 weeks and had a wonderful time. The villa was beautiful, very comfortable and cleaned every day. The grounds are well maintained and are a great place to sit and relax. Every morning a delicious cooked healthy breakfast was delivered to our villa. Wayan and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Wayan was a great communicator before we came to Bali and he was a great help when we needed to extend our visa to stay in Bali for six weeks. The staff always ensured we had everything we needed and indeed it made our stay special. The staff picked us up at the airport and often brought us to the beach and back to the villa. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Apel Villa and it is definitely on our list for a future stay.

Beautiful room and all modern amenities. Our boys loved having access to the pool 24/7. Lovely staff and beautiful grounds. We stayed 5 nights will definitely go back. :) Breakfast was crappy. We brought a whole heap of groceries and cooked breakfast as well as ate the 2tablespoons of scrambled eggs on a piece of bread (not toast) that was provided. Better to prepare your own breakfast. Pool was murky. The pool table is located in the 4bdroom villa. We were allowed access as no-one was staying in that Villa. Other than that it was pleasent.

Second time at Apel Villas. We enjoyed it there. Was very quite, had the pool to ourselves. The villas are not very well equipped. But when we asked for towels, cutlery, glasses etc the staff quickly supplied everything we needed. The air conditioning was not fantastic in the living room. But was sufficient. For the price you pay it is well worth a stay. You do need transport everywhere though as it is not walking distance to anything. Make sure you have a map of where the villa is located as a lot of taxi drivers could not locate the villa. It's only a few dollars taxi ride to sanur.

Hidden away in a Residential village lies these Beautiful Villas. Driving up the drive way to Apel Villas we were greeted with smiles from the Manager Wayan and the Apel Villa staff. Greeting our family with welcome drinks. Walking thru a single door we walked into the Apel Villas manicured gardens, past the infinity pool that has a swim up bar with stereo system . We are a family of 4. We stayed in a 2 bed/2 bath that had chefs kitchen, Dining room , 2 Lounges and plasma TV with Cable TV.Fres water machine aswell. Breakfast was included every morning at what ever time we wanted. The pool was right outside our room. There is also a great house there which has thing for the kids such as basketball throwing machine, pool table and also a gym. ..There is also WiFi available to and it works. Its just a great place to stay and very child friendly. Free transfers into Main Sanur and we ate at the local tranditional night markets, Our kids (12 and 7 ) loved. it . Very cheap dinner $10 AUD for the 4 of us . We would catch a bemo back for $3AUD , can't complain about that. ..We have stayed at Apel Villas twice now and we will go back there again. You won't be disappointed. Security is great .at the villas…

If you want to get away from the tourist and want to stay in an authentic area book these villas. Giant rooms good private pool and helpfull staff to get you started. Ideal location when travelling with kids. Got a free upgrade to the owner villa. Which has a living of 150m2 a fitness and a pool table. Perfect holiday.
