Halfway into our week long stay the owner (an Australian, I don't know his name) of this villa suddenly turned up and was stalking around the common areas of the house, being twitchy and strange, and talking to the fish in the pond and whistling loudly in the living room. I made the mistake of politely asking him to stop...

Dear Poppygoodwill Firstly, I am sorry for my behavior. There really isn’t any excuse. I did look for you 15mn later to apologize, but I didn’t see you. I would like to just explain a few things, if you don’t mind. I had just return from Australia, and recovering from a recent operation. I have been quite sick and under...

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, big swimming pool and nearby the beach. Love the quietness. Is good for single or couple or even share a room with your best friends. The staff will help you to organise bike and anything you request.

The manager and staff do evrything you ask and lots you dont expect or ask for. Ketut doing my laundry, Gdey breakfasts and Nyomans smile and work ethic. The place has a nice vibe. Manager, Putu Ariana, Anie can organise anything you need.

This is the only place to stay in Sanur. The rooms offer everything most western visitors would be accustomed to: air conditioning, nice warm/cold shower in a marble bathroom, two swimming pools in a private courtyard, tv with large selection of movies, good healthy breakfast. The 'exotic room' is definitely exotic but gets a bit hot during the day and...

This B&B is completely charming, especially if you like a place with an historical feel that's been well-maintained. The building itself and the decor all hark back to the colonial era of the early 20th century. The location is great too - just a short walk from the beach and from Jalan Danau Tamblingan (the main commercial street of Sanur)....

Pak Putu and his wife and staff are above excellent in all that they do to serve their guests. This place feels like a home away from home. The character, the upkeep, and the condition of this boutique hotel is exactly one of the most restful dwelling places in which we have ever stayed. Great job! Thank you, Rhonda A

Not much to mention. The management was far behind the standard I expected. He even did not say 'sorry' about bed bugs problem. Felt so bad.

Dear ksyy512, I know this is a long time ago, but actually I was only made aware we had a Trip Advisor page in the past week. As the owner, I was shocked and disappointed to see your review. Are you sure it was our place, as there is another guesthouse close by with a similar name which often confuses...

Quaint and quiet retreat with tastefully decorated spacious rooms and soothing water features. We enjoyed sitting by the koi fish pond and swimming in the small but tranquil pool. Rooms by the pool are probably best: farther from the street with less direct sun. Breakfast is very simple: yogurt and fruit with grains. Coffee/tea is self-serve in the community kitchen...

I spent 6 weeks at Kolonial House and I just love it. It felt like home from the first day. It's quiet and peaceful with swimming pools and a lovely koi & turtle pond. That staff are so helpful & friendly. It's located on a residential street away from the beach resort crowd and yet still walking distance to the...

It's not one of those places close to the beach with hotel sun beds waiting for you in the morning and buffet style breakfast. It's a place where you really feel alone away from the crowds. You rarely see other guests and the service is invisible. Therefore you can really relax and enjoy your time.
