Parigata is ideal for those whose family budget doesn't stretch to one of the direct beachfront location hotels. The family rooms are very large and spotlessly clean. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. They, unlike typical Bali style, respond to emails almost instantly and they also provide a free shuttle that will drop you off every hour whoever you want to go in Sanur. They will also pick you up from another hotel in Sanur and drop you to the next hotel all free. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Location is great. Whilst not directly on the beach, its just a short stroll down the alley to the beach and if you want to lay on the beach, they offer a beach club further down. Short walk to shop, previously called Hardys and other great restaurants, etc. Great big lounges and spaces for kids to hang out, outside the family rooms. This is a great option if you want to be all in the one room as a family and you probably won't find cheaper for a family room that is so clean and so close to the beach. Room service food was really good and affordable. The staff really are great. Its definitely an option to consider if you are on a budget with a family.

We stayed here for 6 days and were very impressed. The check in was very quick and even though we were early we were not made to wait. We were given a very welcome fruit juice and then taken through the garden to our room, a deluxe ground floor room. the typically Balinese garden was delightful and made a lovely setting for the swimming pool and childrens paddling pool. Our room was very spacious, the Queen size bed very comfotable with a choice of lovely pillows, I never had a problem dropping off to sleep. The bathroom and electrics were slightly outdated, we turned on the kettle and the room filled with smoke, but the electrician was there within 5 minutes to sort out the problem. The shower was over the bath tub, which may not suit everyone, but I love to relax in a bath so it suited me. The buffet breakfast was very good, every day there was a change of hot dishes and the egg station was very popular. We had 2 evening meals in the restaurant, we enjoyed them very much and the prices for food and drink was very reasonable.
All the staff are a great asset to the hotel and everyone was friendly and helpful. The only black mark was the drive from the main road to the hotel. Being the rainy season we had several very heavy storms and twice when were returning to the hotel the whole drive was flooded. We had no option, our shoes came off and we paddled through 3-4 inches of deep water. It didn't spoil our stay though and we still laugh about my husband's attempt at giving me a fireman's lift. We would choose Parigata again if we visit Sanur again.

This is a hotel that is surprisingly cheap considering is 50m from beach or high street. The staff are universally lovely and helpful the pool area is very nice with a waterfall. I have a few little comments that might make it a 4 star however. 1. My room had no safe. Also the minifridge was locked with no key. My sons room had a safe but that was locked and no instructions on how to reset. This is an easy fix, but having no room safe is a bit poor. 2. Breakfast choices are weirdly restricted, you can't mix and match. Eg either csrbs, indonesian, or American, you can't for example have eggs and toast or just toast and sausage/ bacon but you can have full egs benedict or toast plus croissant or waffle and pancake. It's a bit of. 3. Pool area is lovely but I think at full occupancy that would be impossible. 4. My room had a visibly cracked bath, and in both rooms the doors were sticking. The hotel is great, communication great, food not brilliant but many choices nearby. With a bit of post covid tlc this hotel could just freshen up a bit and charge a lot more I feel . The lobby is beautiful and rooms are ok, staff are amazing, but the little details like no safe or fridge and rather woeful breakfast let it down a bit I wanted to give so many stars but am hoping perhaps cracked baths, sticking doors etc are an easy fix we had a great stay and I can't fault the communication or any of the staff all were amazing

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our tour. The rooms are good, the bed is great and everything is there: hairdryer, kettle, minibar, two bottles of water, a small seating area in the room. We spent a week here in January and it delivered everything we wanted. We stayed in a twin room on the 3rd fl. The room was big, beds were very comfortable and the airconditioning worked beautifully. All staff were amazing, and the whole resort was spotlessly clean and fresh at all times. The shuttle service to the beach club and Sanur town was especially useful given the hot days we had. Easy walk to restaurants and bars. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I gave this hotel a 5 star review score mainly because of the excellent value for money. The room is huge, as is the bathroom. Bedding is extremely comfortable and the shower pressure and shower fittings are top notch. We have a lovely ground floor room with easy access to the delightful pool. Never had an issue getting a sun bed and pool towels were plentiful. Air conditioning worked a treat!
The breakfast was a little disappointing with a set menu. I applaud that aspect because it avoids waste, but the juice is cordial and no bacon (pork) on the menu.
Staff were excellent and attended to all needs in a friendly manner.
For the price the location cannot be beaten. A gang (laneway) takes you straight to the beach, with access to the mainly lovely restaurants a short walk away. Parigata is what I would term central Sanur, so plenty of opportunities for a variety of cafes/restaurants, spa facilities etc.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who keeps an eye on their budget and wants value for money. I would return!

I have just been lucky enough to stay at The Parigata for three nights and it was such a lovely experience. Hidden away but still very close to the beach or restaurants and shops it was like a tropical oasis nestled into its own secret garden. The whole resort is immaculately maintained with stunning gardens and a beautiful pool. I stayed in a ground floor room which was very spacious with a wonderfuly comfortable bed made up with quality linen and a bathroom with a large walk in shower. Every staff member is very friendly and they all make you feel extremely welcome. Breakfast is not a buffet but a very generous choice of three breakfast menus which I liked better than the usual buffet that creates a lot of waste. This was my first stay at Parigata and will definitely choose to stay here again.

After 3 years away we returned to our old faithful again on Sanur. Not much has changed (thankfully) apart from the breakfast buffet, which is now a la carte. Whilst we missed the buffet, I guess one of the benefits is less wastage by buffet binge eaters.
There is a particular vibe that Parigata exudes, and that's what draws us back everytime we come to Bali. We love the greenery, the water features, the staff of course and not to mention it's very strategic location straddled between the north and south end of Sanur.
The rooms are modestly renovated, well appointed and quite spacious, enough for an extra bed if that's needed. They represent great value for money IMHO. Hope that never changes as prices have gone through the roof at a new hotels in the area...could be a temporary post COVID thing.
The only criticism I have is the WIFI in the rooms which is weak and drops out frequently. If they can address that (and bring back the buffet :) ) then this hotel will be unbeatable.

I would like to make this review as positive as possible considering we did have a good time during our stay here. The room we booked was a superior room which was plenty large enough for us. The king size bed was very comfortable and the main area of the room reasonably well appointed. As we found out later many of the rooms have been remodelled with walk in showers, but our 3rd floor room had a shower over bath which if you were less mobile would be a little difficult. The bathroom needs a makeover with many of the fittings not in good conditions and with some tiles cracked or crumbling. From the outset this hotel looks like it was in its time a very upmarket hotel, but over the years some areas are it seems are no longer utilised, like the foyer and pool side bars. Our room was on the third floor which was not a problem for us, but others might find it a difficult as there are only stairs, no lift, so these upstairs rooms are not for anyone with mobility issues. The breakfast was okay, although we did have some communication difficulties as the breakfast is not a buffet but by menu selection and a few times we didn’t get what we ordered, so a bit of back and forward to get it right. But there were many positives, the front end staff as well as the cleaning staff could not do enough to assist us. The grounds surrounding the hotel are extremely well maintained, giving the place a beautiful tropical feel. Would we come back, yes but would request a lower floor room.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. We stayed on first floor. We liked the easy access to the pool! Pool was lovely! Location was great - close to the Main Street and road was also a public access road to the beach (no cars but pedestrians and scooters). Didn’t eat there but lots of spots nearby to eat.
