As the others have said- there are a few steps up to the cottages- think ours had 4, once up there though we were on the flat- ours did not have any door frames to climb over. The bathroom is huge however, only you can decide if the steps up are an issue for you. Another thing to consider is the paths around the gardens are not particularly flat, and the doors into the café where breakfast is served are not particularly wide. It may be worth asking about the private villas- they may not have the steps up to them. Do ask the hotel if in doubt, they are very helpful.
