First time we stayed at Sanur (normally Legian), Mercure Sanur was very relaxing with good rooms and great service. Our room was close to beach which has lovely cafes and a few bars to enjoy. Resort was nice and quite, not noisy.

Too many issues to list. Spent one night out or a seven night booking. Had to find a new hotel but did not want to make a fuss and request a refund. The room stank of mould, staff were disinterested in all areas. My one meal was Balinese but must’ve been cooked by a non Balinese or a person that did not care. The pool had a lot of algae in it. Unfortunately the list goes on and on, It appears to me that the place was due for demolition some time age - pre pandemic by a long way. The impression is that no money is being spent on the property and. My assumption is that the land being so big is worth a fortune so will be redeveloped soon. If this is not the case then I wonder why. I hated the place.

Terrible stay for us, especially for my youngest son. On second day my son had an accident inside the swimming pool, i think there’s some sharp ceramic around the frog statue in the middle of the swimming pool, one of the toes got cut from it. It bleeding so bad and the hotel staff around the pool response so slow until one of my son friend running to them asking for help. But there are staff hotel like Mrs Eka, chef, driver were really helpful, she escort us to the hospital and handling the payments. Despite of that incidents, i also dissapointed at this hotel, they dont recognized me as a diamond member even though i already give my member card when i check in. No welcoming gift, given standard welcome drink, and even they want to charge me when i have breakfast.

Fabulous resort. Staff so friendly and always ready to help out. Walking distance to centre of Sanur. Private beach and great outdoor settings. Excellent breakfast and poolside facilities. Will definitely stay there again.

This place was clean,comfortable,well situated in Sanur on the beach with the Genius bar added to meet your cafe needs while their kitched met the rest. Of course what I really appreciated was this delightful manager at the front desk whose name I forget, but her service was unforgettable. Sooo sweet she helped me make any connections I needed to travel and be comfortablle. The room was very comfy with great bathroom and shower and a lovely porch..but, I forgot to photo!

the mecure was still undergoing renovations and opening up due to the pandemic i booked thru accor i was upgraded to a deluxe room the room was very quiet good air con and clean and tidy the gardens need a lot of care the restaurant was only open for breakfast with limited choice the staff very friendly the pool bar / cafe was open for lunch but the service was not good as was the selection they did not seem to care where as at breakfast was the opposite the resort is right on the beach and great ocean views and a good pool hopefully will improve when they get it back to normal

Stayed here for 7 nights at the end of April/early May when things were just starting to get back to "normal" in Bali, although the Mecure had been open for a long time since then. We had a deluxe room with breakfast included. Room was located near the beach, both pools and restaurant. Only one pool (by the restaurant had pool towels, a bar and padded pool lounges; there was only 8 of these at the main pool and people reserved them early and then went off to do whatever so jagging one of these was nearly impossible. Room was well appointed and clean. Had the biggest bed I've ever seen in my life and was comfortable. 2 large bottles of water were provided daily. The rooms are not sound proof at all and we had families above us and beside us for the last 3 days-the made a lot of noise at all hours of the morning and we ended up yelling at them a few times. Breakfast was dismal and catered to locals only (it was the end of Ramadan so no bacon) it was okay but chose to mostly eat out. They promoted buffet dinners and entertainment every second night but we went to try it one night and whilst there was a buffet, we were told it was only for the staff??? Why advertise it then? We were given a pool bar menu. Drinks and food were overpriced- typical of a big chain resort. Eg: 110k for a Mojito that was a lemon lime and bitters with a wedge of lime, a few mint leaves and vodka because they had no Bacardi. Some staff members need a bit of training in customer service, but all were lovely and friendly. Tried to book the tennis courts a few times but it was always booked out - people book it for 4 hours at a time so if you want to play a game, get in early and book. Kids club was not available due to Covid? Bizarre because everything else was? Pool table is broken and out of order. Hired a bike for 2500k per day so was a cheap way to get around. The bike rental guy they use hunted us down and took our bikes half way through. I got them back and then a few days later he found us by the pool and wanted them back again. I explained that I paid him in full for 5 days and he left us alone after that...I hid the bikes so he couldn't steal them. Internet was hit and miss and non existent by the pool areas. They have cable T.V. though. It is an older resort so the gardens are well established and lush. There is some minor easy fixes that are overlooked, and instead of having 35 people sweeping paths, they could be rectified but that comes down to staff management, not the staff themselves.

Pretty avergae classic resort, Their service is excellent. Nothing really catch my attention, however the scenery they provide is really refreshing. The pool is kinda of basic and the cleanliness of the pool could have much better. Yet the experience they gave us when we were there is out of our expectation.
