Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We have just booked for 3 weeks once again. You will not find better value in Sanur. This is a small, boutique, locally owned hotel complex with clean, bright rooms, a refreshing well maintained pool, comfortable bedding and high cleaning standards. The staff are beyond helpful and nothing is a chore.
The property has a small streetside bar and a small breezy onsite restaurant which serves tasty, very cheap home made meals and drinks. Bicycles can be hired here and owners will help with any transport requirements.
Nothing is ever too much trouble when staying here, which is why we feel safe and secure in returning year after year. You won't regret booking at Asoka....in fact, you will just join the very long line of happy repeat visitors.

My wife and I spent 11 nights at Asoka Homestay, and would have come back later in our holiday except rooms were fully booked. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the "homestay/hotel" being quite new, with nice, clean, spacious rooms with comfy bed, cold fridge with freezer compartment, and shower with reliable hot water. WIFI signal and speed was also good throughout our stay.
We had a downstairs poolside room which had porch with a table and two chairs and was only a few paces to the lovely small, but good sized and sparkling clean pool, with sun lounges and umbrellas.
Breakfast was a la carte with several choices including fried eggs, nasi goreng, omlette fruit etc, all served with a plate of fruit coffee etc and sufficient to kick start each day. It was served in the dining area or could be delivered to your room if required.
Location was excellent in the quieter south end of Sanur. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, including many lovely ones on the beach front about a 3 minute walk away.
To cap things off, the owners, Wayan and Made were super friendly and made us feel extremely welcome, as did all the staff.
Would definitely recommend to others. We plan to return next year.

The room is nice and spacious. Bed is lovely and comfortable unfortunately the bed linen and towels are a little tried and need to be replaced permanently and not when one makes a compliant. Perhaps a case rack would be advisable as there is heaps of room and it takes them off the floor which would save your back.

My beautiful wife and I recently spent 4 nights at this amazing place. We only planned to stay for one or two nights, but we were having such a wonderful time, we just couldn’t leave. The place is modern and exceptionally clean, with a great hot shower, ice cold air conditioning, and an additional ceiling fan. The mattress and bedding are some of the most comfortable we have ever come across in all of our world travels. The wonderful owners also provide excellent food on site. Best Nasi Goreng we have had. One other thing that comes to mind is the location. It is quite literally a two minute walk to the best part of Sanur beach and also a two minute walk to the high street with all of its shops and restaurants. The perfect location. We cannot wait to return.

This was our second stay at Asoka. It is in a great location, reasonably priced, friendly staff and management. This time we stayed in a suite with kitchenette as we needed a bit more space, staying a longer time. It is only a very short walk to the beach and restaurants on the main road. It is not a luxury complex but small and basic. Has the usual aircon, wifi and a small pool. There is a small restaurant that sells, tasty meals and a bar. There is also a massage studio attached where a lovely lady named Wiwid will give you any massage/salon treatments required. Transport to and from the airport is offered and they have bikes for hire. Here is a safe and friendly enviroment where nothing is too much trouble. Nothing is perfect and our only whinge is that you have to walk past the pool to get in and out. Unfortunatley we found most of the people by the pool on the lounges were smokers and we had to hold our nose going by. Just too many of them in a small area. We would still stay there again as it is only a small inconvenience.

Charming, clean and quiet accomodation in the heart of Sanur and just minutes from the beach. Loved our comfortable bed and wish we could have stayed longer.
Staff are so friendly and helpful, the pool area is so serene and pretty.
They also have a really well stocked bar for cold drinks, and a kitchen for any cutlery/plates you need.
A really short walk to lots of amenities too, convenience store, coffee, restaurants etc

Great Location. Only minutes walk to the boardwalk/beach and in the heart of the cafe/restaurant district. Family owned homestay. All staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were comfy with all toiletries provided. Great value restaurant ($2.50AUD beers, $2.50 Gorengs) and spa within ($8.50 AUD one hour balinese massage). Will stay again in the future

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband. This is a lovely clean hotel with good facilities. The pool is a big plus! Staff are very friendly and we also had some clothes washed by them while we was there. Only thing I would say is some photos are slightly misleading making it look like the hotel is on the beach which is not the case although it is very close around a 3 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked a 1st floor suite room for 3 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. Bright and spacious with a comfortable bed; refreshing pool; nice little cafe; helpful friendly staff. It's close to shops and restaurants, and also an easy walk down the laneway to Sanur beach ...The only thing to note is an extraction fan in the bathroom would be useful, as we found it did steam up quite quickly, but overall, a great place in an excellent location, and it's definitely on our list to stay here again when in Sanur ~*~

Stayed at Asoka for two extra nights in Bali because of a flight cancellation,downsizing from a hotel close by. Superb value. Ground floor studio excellent,lovely pool, everything clean,food and drink excellent, as were all the staff. The wonderful owners even took us to the airport for Part I of our journey home. If you travel to Sanur, give Asoka a go. 👍

I really don't recall as I do not use a hair dryer. I air dry my hair. As above person stated it is an excellent value for the $ and centrally located. The family is super nice and helpful in every way.
