Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Well designed hotel. Everything felt very high quality from the towels to the wood finishes on the furniture. Spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.
Room included a small fridge, couch, coffee table, lounge chair, desk with desk chair, tv, night stands, lamps, closet, safety deposit box, balcony with chairs, kettle, French press, coffee/tea, drinking water, and bed. The bed was very comfortable and included sheets and a comforter; and the mattress I would consider to be on the softer side. Different size pillows that were extremely comfortable. The room also had great central air conditioning with two different temperature controls. Tv had some good English channels including some movie channels.
Bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, hair dryer, and different size towels. The bathroom had a ventilation fan. The shower had two different shower heads (stationary or hose); and the shower itself was spacious and had warm and cold water.
The pool area was very nice and was generally quiet. Lounge chairs with umbrella and cabanas. Also a small jet pool next to the main pool.
Only downsides to our stay was that the WiFi didn’t work everywhere in the room and a nearby restaurant played live music loudly til about 11pm. And the mini fridge didn’t keep things that cold.
Would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we checked in, service from all staff was absolutely amazing. Our Magnolia suite was gorgeous and accommodated us and our teenage daughter perfectly with privacy and the comfort of having 2 bathrooms plus a beautiful lounge area in between. Toiletries provided are beautiful and replenished daily, beds were so comfortable as were the pillows. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. Pool area is lovely and we never had an issue getting a cabana or sunbed and although it’s not a huge pool, the clientele this hotel attracts was very considerate of others in the pool. The jacuzzi spa was great for when you just wanted to sit in the water to cool down. Poolside drinks/cocktails were well priced for a hotel. The invite to the weekly hors d’oeuvre party was an added bonus where we were welcomed by the beautiful manager Ari. Location in Sanur is great, only a really short stroll to the beach and surrounded by lots of places to eat. We are definitely looking forward to returning to Maison Aurelia.

Location. Small boutique hotel with around 60 rooms (ground + 3 floors) is placed on the second line, 500 meters from both Batujimbar and Karang beaches, which are part of long Sanur beach. Good cafes and restaurants are just in a few steps from the hotel, as well as Artasedana shopping mall with big grocery store and a lot of small local shops. It looks to be the best point in Sanur. The street is quiet busy from 8 am to 10 pm, after 11 pm no traffic at all.
Room. High quality furniture, all details are well designed and convenient for use. Complementary water every day, cleaning is very diligent. Poor wifi in a room, but noticed that it is typical to Bali. We (2 parent + 2 children) stayed in Magnolia room which consist of a big one and a small rooms with opened door in between. Generally, room exceeded expectations. No insects in a room and almost around the hotel, which is very important for Bali!
Facilities. Pool (13 meters long) is not big (+small jacuzzi) but there were no problems with places around during our stay. Spa is very good, we took massages several times and is not pricy if you use discounts offered on Fridays. Gym is small and consists of 1 velo and weights.
Restaurant. Liked very much, breakfasts are rich (4 complex: Asian, American, continental and Indonesian; and good a-la-carte menu, we combined both options). We also had lunches and dinners there, staff is very friendly, attentive, helpful while cuisine is great. Special thanks to cooks in the kitchen and personally to Kadek, Made, Wayan and Putu who served our meals!

If sleep is important to you, then this is a hotel for you to stay. The bed was AMAZING this includes the pillows and linen. The area is very quiet and the ducted AC worked very well and had no musty smell like many hotels. Room size is big and furnishings luxury. Sanur is a great place to walk around, so although not on the beach the location is very central. My stay was beyond expectation and will come back.

Was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room. Room was always cleaned and bed was tidied with different traditional snacks and their explanation placed at the bedside table every evening
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Love the environmentally friendly idea with the drinking bottle refill.
Great location for easy walking distance to different yummy cafes and restaurant in the area as well as well protected from all the sound from the surroundings. A super duper recommended place to stay in Sanur!

Just back from 6 nites here at Maison and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We arrived a little early around 1pm but our room wasn’t open which was no problem as we headed off to a favourite restaurant up the street. We returned just over a hour later and we were taken up to our Camelia room on the second floor overlooking the courtyard. Our Camelia room featured a very comfy bed with a small lounge at the base in front of the tv . The Bathroom was ample enough and offered up complimentary toiletries. The TV in our room featured over 40 channels with both western and eastern options with channel info by the bed. There was a desk area too and room safe as well although I found the in room fridge to be pretty small. Breakfast each morning was served in the restaurant offering up a American option and a local option too…this was one of the best breakfast options we had throughout our 2 week stay in Bali. We found all the staff to be very friendly from the very efficient housekeeping staff to the equally friendly restaurant staff at breakfast each morning. I enjoyed excellent sleep most nites although there is a couple of restaurants next door with live music but I noticed that ended at 10pm each nite. Maison is located right in the heart of Sanur within walking distance to restaurants , spas and the beach. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The rooms at Maison Aurelia are absolutely beautiful and luxurious. I had stayed in 3 hotels already on my trip prior to arriving here and this was the first hotel that felt warm, cosy and homely with a touch of elegance.
The bed, the bedding, the lounge area, everything just felt like as if I was walking into my own house, I felt so comfortable there and most mornings had to drag myself out of bed!
The staff are fantastic and the housekeeping young man was the friendliest ever, always smiling, laughing, and could not do enough for you.
I chose this hotel as I already stayed in Sanur the week before in a beachfront hotel. I would choose Maison Aurelia again as the walk to the beach is still only 5 mins and I just hired a bed and towel on the public beach for 50k. The location is also perfect for restaurants and bars.

We stayed at the Maison Aurelia for 5 nights in a Camelia Room We loved the room, very spacious, it had a lounge area which was great for relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is well appointed with a great shower and had the best hairdryer I have used in a hotel, well appreciated. We loved the turn down service at night and especially the little cookies or sweets that were left for us. The hotel pool is fabulous, we enjoyed the covered cabanas next to the pool which made it a great area to relax in. I had a great massage in the hotel spa, well worth a visit. The hotel location is in a fantastic part of Jl Tamblingan, near many restaurants and a short walk to a great supermarket, plus a short walk via Pantai Karang to the beach walk. Happy to recommend.

The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world. Rooms are large and well equipped, 2 air cons in the room keep it cool, breakfast was amazing with real bacon and choice of coffee. Great location with lots of bars and restaurants close by.

Beautiful tidy hotel with classic and homie ambience. Good breakfast, clean room, nice bed and friendly staffs. The good thing is we can use bikes for free so my kids are very happy. The hotel location is near Karang Beach only 10 minutes walking, along the road has a lot of resto and cafe, spa, massage, reflexology and laundry service. All is perfect. We are really enjoy spending 2 nights here and will be back again. I love Sanur.

Yes there is a spa within the hotel however there are also lots of other massage places within just a few mins walk of the hotel as well at half the price. Depends on what type of environment you’re after.

Hi Myungsung, the beds are spacious for 2 adults and 3 kids!. You will definitely enjoy your stay there. I would also like to recommend you a nice Japanese resto near the hotel called “nori”. Just google and you will find it.
There are more places to choose from in the Sanur area.
