The room was clean and spacious. The towels and beddings smell good as well. The breakfast was really good. The owner and his staff were really nice and very accommodating and friendly. The owner personally cooked the breakfast for the guests. It has a nice pool for cool down after spending a day at the beach. Close to the beach and sanur port, just around 7 to 10mins away.

A budget stay for one night had us find this little beauty. A small homestay set up complete with pool. Staff friendly, room newish with good wifi, nice bathroom and excellent shower. Room more than comfortable. Located a couple of minutes from KFC corner at the top end of Sanur. If given the chance to stay again for a few days I would not hesitate. Great find

Staff was nice, the English wasn't too good, but it worked fine. The room was clean, AC was good and bathroom good too. The breakfast was good too. Baggage storage by the reception, but I wouldn't leave valuables. They let us stay at the hotel by the pool after check out since we didn't have to leave for the airport until 10 PM. Some mice running around at evening, but I guess that it's the same everywhere.

I visited here last year and had a good stay so thought I'd come back again, what a mistake. Someone (I presume a worker here) decided to have all their local mates back for a good old, loud drinking session at 0200, yes I was then awake for a long period of time. The good news is they did go to sleep after I got angry, but then again at 0700 the same volumes of noise again with more people shouting and banging on doors to wake up friends happened again. No courtesy for guests at all. Avoid this place in off season if this is the respect you get as a paying customer.

Great value for what it offers: 10 min walk to reach the ferry dock. Nice place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Due to me getting sick, owner was really helpful and toughtful. Really appreciated. Would suggest mainly for a stop by for tours in Nusa Penida or Lembongan.

We checked into Rai house in Feb of this year and really liked the place. The rooms are perfect size (the beds are a bit on the small side), nice big clean bathroom and a TV. Please note that the TV does not have a dish and only shows local channels. Its a minor issue but most local guesthouses we stayed in did have dish tv and at times we enjoyed watching a late night movie :) The wi -fi in the room is non-existent but works like a charm in the gorgeous pool area! There's also a semi private deck/lounge area upstairs round the corner from the rooms. The staff were very friendly when they were around which was not very often to be honest. We even had trouble finding somebody to pay our bill.. I presume this was due to the fact that it was low season but still. We didn't eat there because Sanur is bursting with good restaurants and warungs so can't comment on the food. If you're really desperate you can walk to McD ( I know!). We loved the fact that we were not in the midst of things yet a short cycle ride away from everything. Highly recommend renting a mountain bike and cycling everywhere. Its about a10 mins cycle ride away from the beach. Rai house is a keeper for us and we look forward to returning asap.…

Room Tip: Stay upstairs! The rooms on ground level smelled terribly musty.

Rai House Sanur is a great choice for a short stay before catching one of the many ferries to the neighbouring islands such as Nusa Penida. The hotel is walking distance from Sanur Beach where all of the ferry "terminals" are. If you are backpacking, you could walk but if you have luggage it's probably better to get a ride as close to the beach as you can. All of the staff here were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was tasty and filling. The room was decent, although the sheets we got were stained. The bathroom needs a bit of work as the sink was badly clogged in our room. I'd still recommend this place for a short stay like I said or maybe ask for a room upgrade if you are staying longer :) Ps forgot to take a picture but they have a nice little pool here as well! Also - their dog is very cute and friendly. …

We stayed for 3 nights in early May. Two rooms with breakfast. Very reasonable rates. Breakfast is a choice of 4-5 items including nasi goreng (which we took each morning). Plus tea or coffee. Plus mineral water (from a large cooler). No juice. No extras: very simple and more than adequate. There is a laundry service (hand in at breakfast, get back next day at breakfast). About 10,000 rupiah per shirt: very reasonable. Spotlessly clean rooms with air conditioning. Very friendly staff. Not totally secluded or sound-proof (birdsong and sounds of everyday life in the morning) but not on a busy street. Taxi driver may need very clear instructions (180,000 rupiah from airport). Highly recommended. Will return on next visit.
