We had two nights at the Ritz Carlton. We had a very spacious sawangan suite which was clean and had all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. Our first night we ate at the Indonesian restaurant on-site and had an amazing meal full of flavour topped off with great service - 10/10! Could not fault anything! Our second night unfortunately was not as great. We found the dining options limited. We would have easily gone back to the Indonesian restaurant however due to a private function - in-house wedding it was closed. The only other options were the beach grill which was a buffet which isn’t our preference unless for breakfast and for the cost it was per head would not be good value with two picky eater teenagers, the other was the lounge which were serving dinner. It was obvious that all the hotels resources were allocated to the wedding. The staff that were working in the lounge for dinner were all friendly however there were delays in service and we also noticed when people left other tables were left Uncleaned for some time. All in all the food was ok however a let down from our first night. Breakfast buffet was great, huge selection, efficient staff and great coffee. The grounds were well kept considering the last 2.5 years however, there was a bit of maintenance work going on with grounds dug up and plumbing being done in addition to major tree cutting however besides the visual effect of seeing this it did not impact us, all workers were polite and ensured of we had to pass where work was being done that it was safe to do so.

We had an evening arrival and were warmly greeted by the front desk. Arriving at night when it is dark is not only disorienting, but you miss seeing the sweeping views of the property where check in is performed. We made sure to go back up to the lobby and repeat this after breakfast the following morning. What an amazing view looking down over the property and the Indian Ocean! You may not have control over the time you arrive, but if it is after sundown, don’t wait until your last day to go all the way back up and take in the sweeping views! We stayed in a Pool Pavilion Villa. Kind of a mixed review here. The room is beautiful. It comes with an open layout, high ceilings and a great exterior bathroom and pool shared with the other attached villas. When it comes to acoustics, the room fails and because we were in the center villa, I heard EVERYTHING happening in either room. The honeymoon couple on our first night made getting to sleep pretty much impossible until the early hours of the morning (good for them right?) It was the idiot dad with ZERO spacial awareness in the villa next door repeatedly yelling “wake up we’re in Bali” to his kids at 6am where I found my passive aggressive side bubbling up. (Clearly we can establish I am not a morning person.) By 6:30 the kid was running around screaming and our room was officially up for the day. Thankfully, there was a massive Koi fish pond behind our building that had open feeding of the fish at 7am, so I was able to schlep myself to the pond and feed the fish every morning of my stay. Sadly, I may have overfed some of them, but the catharsis I had during those morning feedings more than made up for thin walls. Just be forewarned…the acoustics aren’t the best and any noise reverberates. If you can, sleep with earplugs and hope you’re not the villa in the middle. That being said, this is truly a minor issue and nothing to let ruin the experience. Breakfast was outstanding. Everyone truly went out of their way to make sure we had everything that we could possibly want. We ate at both of the specialty restaurants; both outstanding and highly recommended. The Balinese cuisine and service at Bejana is simply outstanding; the view looking down at the ocean is unparalleled! My mouth may have been on fire at one point, but I loved every minute of it! The main infinity pools located short of the beach are beautiful. There’s something about watching the tide of the Indian Ocean roll out as Camel’s transport adjacent hotel guests in front of you; all while sipping drinks and taking in the sun from your own Bali. The hotel truly is an oasis. Overall, my experience at this hotel was great and I find it one I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful resort with a nice stretch of beach in Nusa Dua! Rooms, food and beverage are reasonably priced and service is outstanding.

Our family trip at the Ritz Carlton exceeded our expectations. The Villa was beautiful and the service impeccable. The spa, gym, hydro pool and restaurants were outstanding. We had the beach to ourselves and on the weekend enjoyed the music from the parties around us. I’d highly recommend choosing this hotel. They look after you very well.

have a very good stay in Bali. 1 week conference I'm Ritz-Carlton Bali hotel. since I have no friend here, however the staffs are very helpful, especially Ms Luhde. what I needed, she also helped me arranged, restaurant booking. taxi, etc. Thanks for her accompany. and wish her could keep her good work there.

The experience we have is fantastic! The resort is amazing with good facilities and breathtaking ocean view. I would like to thank you all the staffs in the resort, they are all very helpful and nice. Among all the staffs, I would like to specifically express my appreciation to the concierge team and my butler, Arta. We could not get out luggage when we arrived Bali and the Airline could not advise where is our luggage. They advise it normally takes 3-5 days to located our luggage. We were very frustrated since all of our belongings were in the luggage. After learning our situation, Arta proactively offered to work with their concierge team to help recover our luggage. The managed to contact the airline and recovered our luggage the second day and had the luggage delivered to our room swiftly. We were so grateful for their effort. In addition, Arta gave us his number and will check in to see if there is anything we need from time to time. He responded to our request promptly and took care of everything for us, including dinner plan and reservation, during our stay. We had an amazing time in Ritz Carlton Bali and it's the best hotel we ever stayed in. If you have enough budget and are looking for a personalized experience with extensive caring, Ritz Carlton Bali is your best choice.

This hotel resort was excellent, 5 stars all the way. And our butler Hani tended to our every need, ensuring we had the best stay. Ritz Carlton Nusa Dua is a must stay. Food was excellent and awesome access to the beach for a great sunset

Our stay was overall nice, because the pool pavilion villa that we had was amazing and also our butler Hani was very personal and always there to help. I would definitely recommend the pool pavilion villa as you have your own private pool. However, there were two points that could be better. The hotel resort was made for huge weddings and events so naturally it was loud throughout our stay. From about 11 AM they would start doing soundtracks and music tracks for the evening weddings and events. The evening events had loud blasting music with lots of bass which we could hear loudly vibrating throughout our villa. The music would stop at 10 PM due to regulations so it wasn’t too bad. Another area that could improve is the housekeeping laundry. The bath towels had a smelly mildew odor from washed towels not being dried properly.

Having stayed here before in 2016 I was expecting to be welcomed to the same luxury, as a Hotel industry expert (design, development) some things expected, but nothing like below: Resort: - lovely still, most beautiful and stunning gardens! - Experience has lost all its charm, no little touches like before, beautiful frangipani water spray or cold towels - those little touches missing, which would make this a Ritz and sense of place! - Feels super tired, Rooms: (Ritz Carlton Suite Upper Floor and Lagoon Room) - upgrade your Lurton lighting system, night lights are not operating, wrong colour lighting temp. - told staff twice and even moved rooms none worked. - Rooms are tired old, need to be brought up to min standard. Hotels cycle in 5-7yr for updates, you’re overdue! 2014 opened. - add usb slots - new Furniture too, and lagoon room especially these stank. F&B: - breakfast buffet? Wtf shocking for ritz standards this is Hilton or JW Marriott at best. Spa: - Oasis] Lagoon at spa you have the nerve to now charge! We stayed in the most expensive suite category wanted us to pay? Both web + prior that was not the case! All and all a let down, and will not be coming back until without a min updated. Positives: - staff are the absolute best! - still the warm warm care kindness the best staff in Bali - Chef superlovely teams that work tirelessly was wonderful to see them all again, they made the stay! We arrived after 40 hours of continual flying and waiting and flying and waiting. We were greeted by the kindest and most caring of people. It wasn't a forced care; it was real and from the heart. I'd booked a suite for 3 days for fear we'd miss connections and lose out on our dive trip to Komodo Island. Thankfully, we had the 3 days which went far too quickly. We stayed another night upon our return from diving. The property is immaculately clean. It's as though is hand manicured, including each blade of grass. We ate at the grill because of Mona. How she took care of us! She remembered from the 1st visit to the restaurant what we wanted and how. The chef made certain my wishes were answered. His mushroom soup was irresistible. We ate breakfast at another restaurant on the property. What an unimaginable feast. Again, not one person showed any sign of displeasure with the clients, the property or the work. I have to mention 2 people at reception. I asked Mario for coins for our 3 granddaughters. He didn't have enough but promised to get more upon our return. He had 3 glass jars with all of the coins of Indonesia. I was a bit overwhelmed. Tika at the front desk is adorable. They wanted to visit and learn as well as we. She shared stories of her life. We spoke as though we'd known each other for a very long time. The spa is spacious, clean and peaceful. The women are true professional. After the 28 dives in 7 days we were in great need of their assistance. They remembered us from before and even mentioned my husband didn't snore this time. I wish we could have stayed longer in their loving meaningful care.
