At your feet lie clear waters and fine sand beaches. The Village of Bali is one of Club Med(R)'s most beautiful, an Indian Ocean pearl set in the Sunda archipelago. Beneath the coconut palms, by pools of lotus and water lilies, the bungalows with their sweeping roofs take their inspiration from Balinese architecture. A spirit of serenity wafts over Bali, and you can discover a way of celebrating life that is unique. Bali promises moments of grace for young and old, families and honeymooners too.

I stayed at the resort in September 2022 and this was the first time at a Club Med. We initially booked the hotel three years earlier (Pre Covid) and since then a lot has changed for us as a family. We no longer drank alcohol, our two boys were now 15 and 17 which had we not already paid for the hotel we may have considered something different given the above. We have stopped in Nusa Dua before so we knew what to expect in regards to the area. We arrived at the hotel around midnight and got given refreshments upon arrival and some dinner which the hotel made up for us which was a nice touch. Rooms - The rooms were interconnecting and we stayed in a deluxe room. The rooms were nice, albeit a little bit dated now. They were clean but the kettle didn’t work and there was no cushions on our patio which were only small things to be honest. Drinks fridge gets filled once a week with soft drinks and waters are brought to the room everyday which was good. Our rooms got cleaned everyday and there is also laundry facilities nearby to wash clothing etc. I think it was about $14 (Aud) for two tokens and then around $3 (Aud) for washing detergent. Activities - Everything activity wise (land sports, water sports, golf, events) can be viewed on the app (which can be downloaded upon arrival). It’s great and so easy to navigate. In regards to the activities, everything is so good. There’s so much to do and the staff are so friendly and helpful. One thing that they didn’t have bicycles which I thought was odd. A lot of the other hotels had them and I think they would be a good addition. There is a gym on site, it’s not overly big, it’s got a few running machines, cross trainers, a couple of weight machines and free weights. I went in there a couple of times and the air conditioning wasn’t great and any more than three persons and it can seem quite busy. Restaurants - There’s only two restaurants at the resort, one buffet and one a la carte with gluten free options. We managed to get into the a la carte for dinner twice in seven days which was a bit disappointing (if staff say the restaurant is booked out, keeping checking the app because on both occasions they said it was booked out and I managed to get a booking through the app). I just feel that the resort is missing another restaurant given the fact that the a la carte one is closed on Tuesdays and Friday’s which is a bit strange given how busy the resort is. The buffet restaurant is good though but dinner doesn’t open until 6.45pm which is quite late I thought. There is such however variety of foods and the chefs plate up the food for you so it’s not like you are just eating numerous bits of buffet every night. It is a bit of a rat run when trying to get food however, dashing past the other guests but we survived, however we did hear a few collisions from the dinner room. On Friday nights there was an outdoor dinner event and the two restaurants were closed. The outdoor dinner served the best food of the week in my opinion. It was raining in the afternoon when were there but the event still went ahead. We felt a bit pressured to order ‘wine’ at around $70 (Aud) a bottle to reserve a table at the outside event but we don’t drink alcohol so the hotels ploy for us to spend more money there failed. At the end of the day, the hotel had to feed us so thought the order a wine to reserve a table was a bit cheeky. Bars - Bars were good, plenty of staff and drinks service. You pay a bit extra for the premium alcoholic drinks but there’s still plenty to drink without have to pay for any premium drinks. I’ve even uploaded a copy of the bar menu for reference. Pools - The pools were awesome, we spent the majority of our time at the main pool. There was always plenty of things to do such and the pool was warm and had sun shades which was great. Pool towels can be collected at the pool so you don’t have to bring any from the rooms. I did note that numerous guests seemed to get numerous towels and then jump in the pool and then change them for dry ones which I thought was quite lazy. On occasions guests just put the towels on the beds then you never so the guests again for the day and just left them there so it looked like the beds are reserved. The staff at the resort are so friendly and good but it appears as though guests seem to think the staff are more like slaves and seem unable to do the most basic things such as return towels or empty drinks or even put rubbish in bins but that’s not the hotels fault. Anyway, I’m not hear to complain about guests so will move on. The Zen pool was peaceful and very relaxing and is for 18 years and over. There isn’t a bar as such at the Zen, but they do have waiters who will serve you drinks etc. Grounds - The grounds were amazing, vast and so well kept. Staff were always working on them and the location of the hotel and amenities it offers shows why people will always come back here. Word of advice is the mosquito’s, if you get bit, just bring repellent as I got bit several times. Overall - I thought the hotel was very nice, the staff were amazing and would do anything for you. It offers almost everything you could wish for in a Club Med holiday and I’m sure post Covid that it will continue to get busier and people will enjoy it for years to come. Like all hotels in Nusa Dua it comes down to price as there is numerous hotels in the area but Club Med offers something different with the all-inclusive holiday format and for families you can see why this is a go to destination. I would recommend the hotel to my friends and family.

The GOs are the friendliest and warmest people we’ve met in a resort. Their rapport with kids are amazing. You know that they’re special when kids run up to them to give them spontaneous hugs! The GOs work tirelessly to ensure we had the best time and we loved the personable interactions we had with them, sharing drinks at the bar or joining us for dinner. It felt a little odd at first but we came to know that this is the Club Med difference. By then end of the trip, they felt like family. Thank you to Astrid, Ribka, Deri and Christian ( Mini club), Arda, Ali, Daniel, Lina, Joy (Sports) Ziko and Nicho (reception) for making our 1st post COVID holiday one to remember. Pros: - value for money - included activities, drinks & food - staff Cons: - you don’t want to leave the resort to do touristy things - rooms were a little tired, but it added to the overall charm to the place. Plus with the number of things to do at the resort, we only went back to the room to sleep.

This was our first Club Med experience so we didn't know what to expect. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Our highlights: - The Mini club (4-10yrs) was amazing. Our daughters are 7 and 4 years old, introverted and not the adventurous type, so we had no idea if they'd enjoy it. The GO's were super friendly and did activities that worked for our kids. After their first day, it was near impossible to get our kids to leave as they were having so much fun. It was really touching to see bond that grew between our girls and the GO's in the space of a week. Special call out to all the wonderful GO's in the kids club - Emma and Ori (thank you so much for taking such special care of our girls), Nindy, Gugun, Deri, Dayu, Fred, Celina, Billy, Christian, Rama and many more. - All the staff (GO's and others) were fantastic. Always friendly, kind and happy to chat. We especially enjoyed getting to know them at dinner, where they would join at our table. To Budi and Opic - We enjoyed getting to know you and learning about your experiences at Club Med. - The facilities were excellent. Always many things to do. Always clean, and staff attentive. We particularly enjoyed the yoga classes (thanks Lina!), playing badminton and squash, and the aquagym (thanks Atanis!). Our kids loved the pool. The life guards are very vigilant so we always feel safe. - The food exceed expectations for a 4 star resort. Buffet style and wide range of choices spanning many cultures, with plenty of variation each day. The only area to improve was our room smell. The rooms themselves are fine; Basic and clean, and you don't need anything more as you'll want to spend most of your time outside participating in the many activities. However there was a musty smell in them. We had two adjoining rooms and the smell was so strong in one of them we couldn't sleep in it. All in all a fantastic experience. We're sold on the Club Med concept and are very much looking forward to doing it again in the near future!

Bali is my virgin Club Med and it’s also my last Club Med before pandemic. I was so excited when returning to this beautiful resort even through I have been here for many trips. Bali is definitely the best Club Med in Asia. It’s a huge beautiful tropical resort with friendly, helpful and energetic GO/GE team. Sumptuous food in both Agung and The Deck restaurants. The elegant main bar Kintamani has a 360’ degree wonderful view of the surroundings. Tupai Tupai the beach bar served refreshing drinks with the spectacular ocean view. Fun activities and entertainments from day to night, it’s an all inclusive holidays package and extremely convenience with reasonable price. There are many many more facilities… check them out yourself. You will never know if you never try. The best thing for me about Club Med is the people-GOs, GEs and GMs. I always make some new friends at the end trip. Especially the GOs and GEs, they make all the difference. A million thanks to CDV Yoan and your excellent team FnB Mgr Yigit, Chef Roshan, Lia, Ziko, Badal, Anita, Chef Devi, Aldrin, Ferry, Fajar, Rio, Jerry, Tawan, Nyoman, Ali, Andez, Han, William, Arifin and the entire Bali team. I enjoyed my trip even though it’s a short 3 nights trip (20-23 Sep). Cheers to the amazing Club Med Bali team! See you on Monday, my partner in crime Lia “Amelia”!!!

It was our second time in Club Med Bali. Usually when you go back to a place the second time, it is not as good, but here it was even better. This review may be of particular interest to the growing number of vegans. We were a group of seven adults and teenagers, all vegan. We have stayed in many 5-star resorts in south-east Asia, many of them very good for vegans, but it was exceptional here and that was because of the effort chef Effendi and pastry chef Andi put into making sure we had everything we wanted. They would enquire at each meal what we would like for the next meal, planning every detail. So for the vegan readers, we had Tofu Thai curry, Tempeh in Indonesian dishes, Indian curries, Mexican tacos, vegan burgers and pizza, specially made pancakes and rice pudding and other items from the buffet, including Japanese miso soup. But the really amazing treat was the desserts prepared by Andi, which looked wonderful and tasted delicious. (see photos)

Have just spent 9 nights here. resort still nice- the rooms are looking a bit tired though and need an upgrade. The reception staff helped replace the hairdryer and have amenities eg shower cap placed in our room. The resort was not full- i think they said about 350 guests. It would have been a nice gesture given that the resort was quiet to place guests in slightly better rooms. The reception staff especially Zuki was unbelievable- even helped organize a late check out for us. The food was amazing- Indian corner being our favourite. The bar staff work really hard and are all super friendly. Rosie especially went the extra mile and was always keen to have a quick chat. Sophie made the best aperol spritz ever- Thank you Sophie- made them just the way i like them. The water aerobics was really good- we didn't miss a day. The snorkelling was ok-ish. The booking process is strange- you need to be there at 9am to book either the 10 or 11am slot. Then you have to be there at 1pm if you want to go at 2 or 3pm. The water was quite choppy, the visibility not great and then we just saw lots of small fish. You really do need to go to Lomboggan or even nusa penida to get the good snorkelling. The golf- the clubs are really old and the small box of golf balls really just need to be thrown away and replaced with new ones- some are so old they sound hollow. The nighlty entertainment was fun and the GO's all really tried. The adult /zen pool is really nice. Wifi was good. The one thing we didn't like-the GO's need to chat and mingle with the guests during meal times. We found we couldnt just sit and have a quiet dinner on our own. We were always being asked if they could join us . It must be a policy of clubmed but it would be a good idea to somehow also let guests just have a quiet meal on their own. Overall though, excellent resort, chef de village was always present and full of energy. The sea is not great nin front of the resort though.

Thank you for another awesome stay at Club Med Bali. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager and now I have teens of my own. This is the 6th time I’ve stayed here and yet again my family and I loved every minute of it. While we go and stay at other resorts in other countries around the world, we keep coming back to Club Med because we always have the best time. My kids are 14, 13 and 11 and all had a ball doing all the activities with the teens club. Golf, tennis, archery, basketball, snorkelling, trapeze, windsurfing, paddle boarding, yoga, beach volleyball, pool games, jet skiing, live music, shows and the amazing White Night. It’s impossible to get bored. There’s something to entertain you all day and night long. While some parts of the resort are showing their age, we still prefer to stay here over 5 star resorts because we find those resorts pretty boring in comparison. There’s a reason so many families come back to Club Med year after year. And a reason the local staff, like the awesome Rosi at the bar, stay loyal to Club Med. It’s a great place. My happy place. Thank you Yoan and team for an awesome holiday. We will definitely be back again!

Club Med Bali provides comfort with a variety of activities on offer. We were greeted by G.O (Gentil Organisateur) Nicho who gave an explanation of what can be done at this resort. As we walked to our room he explained the facilities and the shows that could be followed that night. Hospitality is always shown by every G.O with great enthusiasm. They create a friendly and warm atmosphere. The special dinner was held outdoors in an all-white atmosphere complemented by songs and performances that make the dinner different. Comfort is complete for us because the presence of G.O Benz who warmly greets and offers the desired drink. The joy is complete with his hospitality. Thank you Club Med Bali.
