After more than 40 years coming to Bali and staying at dozens of hotels, I have finally found my “Bali home!” Kumala Pantai is so comfortable! The staff are exceptional, every one of them! They go out of their way to please and make you feel welcome. The amenities are amazing, two huge pools one with swim up bar the other with bar, the spa is sensational and well priced. The rooms are spacious with a good size balcony, the beachfront restaurant is great with entertainment nightly. KP is situated directly across from Legian beach which is a great spot to watch sunsets while sipping on your mojito and watching the surfers during the day. There are heaps of restaurants from both entrances all within walking distance. Although there have been a few younger couples stay here during my 3 weeks it’s mostly suited to more “mature” people and solo travellers!! I am so sad to be leaving tomorrow but I will be planning my next trip!

My husband and I plus two kids (3 and 10months) stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We did not have a family room however they supplied an fold out bed for my 3yo. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and loved the kids. We had no issue getting a lounge chair in fact the smaller pool had a lot of lounge chairs available. The room is a bit outdated with cracked tiles in bathroom and could do with some improvement but this didn’t bother us. Also the lift was out of order. We were next to a lane way that often had lots of scooters and motorbikes cutting through that was a bit noisy however some white noise eliminated the noise. location is great. Can either walk to Kuta or Seminyak. Lots of restaurants close by. The Italian restaurant attached to the hotel has great food. My 3yo could not get enough of the margarita pizza and it was only $6.50 AUD. It’s a great cheap hotel. I highly recommend this hotel

At main pool, too many ignorant people leave towels on sun lounges from 8am onwards and disappear to breakfast or wherever Second smaller pool has severely inadequate number of pool lounges. Pretty poor service for tenants

We have just stayed at this hotel for the first time for 9 nights Good : good location, gardens lovely, staff friendly Bad : can never get a pool bed patrons put there towels on beds and leave them all day so no one else can use so selfish . Hotel needs a policy to say towels removed after an hour. Breakfast buffet could improve with some better quality breads. Hope this helps, would probably not stay again for the above reason, we are all there to relax on a day bed !!!!

I just spent two weeks here and cannot complain about a thing, except perhaps the mozzies, but that got solved with some spray! Beautiful ground floor room near restaurant, more than enough for a single traveller. Staff always went out of their way to help me and ensure I had a fabulous stay. Breakfast buffet included which is exceptional value, Including an egg station. Restaurant on beach serves good, reasonable priced food all days with entertainment some evenings. Pool areas are lovely, and gardens second to none. A great bunch of happy travellers staying here! Best value hotel on beach, will be my regular from now on.

First time staying here and loved it. Friendly and helpful staff. Really large stand room up on the first floor with private balcony overlooking the pool. Excellent show pressure hot and cold, best we ever have had in Bali. Kettle with tea and coffee and a hair dryer. Only disappointing thing is guest leave pool towels on day beds all day and hardly use them. Makes us so angry as we sometimes can’t get a day bed around either pool. Staff at the two pool bars should remove their towels if they don’t use them and have guests that want to swim.

Just spent two weeks at the Kumala Panti, it's the third time I've stayed there & obviously first time since Covid. I'm happy to say that its still a fantastic place to stay! Just across the road from beautiful Legian Beach, it's in a fantastic central location. Rooms are nice and well appointed, however, do need some maintenance. Staff are great, very friendly & accommodating! Two huge pools, one with a swim up bar! Fantastic Balinese gardens and great restaurant overlooking the beach. Highly recommended

Kuta beach is quiet during this time but the hotel was a lovely getaway. The swimming pool is so nice and the Italian restaurant out front is great! It is a very central spot which makes places like Beachwalk mall easily accessible.

A lovely old school Indonesian hotel with plenty of charm. From the incredible statues throughout the property to the amazing old trees as you head through to the beach. Such a refreshing change from the cardboard cut out corporate look of many modern hotels.
