I will start by saying that over the last few years I have stayed at legion 101 (now the One). I wanted somewhere closer to the beach and I came across the Istana Rama. So glad I did! I am currently on my 4th day here and I have no complaints! I guess everything comes down to your expectations. For... More

We loved this hotel for it's location - perfect! The gardens of the hotel are well maintained but the pool and the rooms are definitely aged so they don't really look like the photos. The main thing is that it's clean and they clean your room every day. If you aren't fussy then this hotel is great. The buffet breakfast... More

We were there for a period 5 days in November. Food was good and the rooms were exceptionally good for that price. The Housekeeping of the hotel was to the maximum. The travel desk staff of the hotel was very helpful when we needed to visit places in Bali. The main negative fact was hotel staff wanted a safety deposit... More

Hotel, staff and restaurant is great. The restaurant would be much busier if the dj wasn't cranking out really crap music at full volume. Who wants to eat a meal or relax for a drink when you can't hear a conversation!

It is in the centre of Kuta beach and close to everything you need. My only complaint of the hotel is the lack of available water. They only have water in small glass bottles, 2 of which are free per day and then you pay. It would be nice to have water coolers to refill bottles with to prevent people... More

Very disappointed, room was very badly maintained, not clean and in a bad state of disrepair (pretty much falling apart). Resort photos online did not represent reality. Unimpressed with facilities and breakfast choices. Overall this is very much past it's use by date, is not being maintained and would not recommend at all.

Service is good, but the room is just ok. and breakfast doesn't have so much food, it is just fine. if you are a student, it would be a good choice, very cheap hotel, but i don't like the room environment, very old and uncleaned wall inside, but the bed is good, clean.

Hotel is bit old fashioned. Location is very good. Services are not up to 4 star standard. Buffet breakfast was with limited items. Rooms are bit damp with noisy AC. Tour desk services are good. Currency exchange rate is poor. You may have some better option with this price range.
