I required a specific location for my first 4 nights in Bali. After researching and reading reviews I decided on the Harper hotel on Jalan Legian. It was a pleasant experience dealing with the reservation staff and continued from checkin to checkout. My chosen room was as I expected and no requests were too difficult during my stay. A special thank you to Ronnie and all of your staff. Harper Kuta will be on my return list for my next visit to Bali. Richard.
This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel. Due to the on going changes in the Bali quarantine system they continually kept me updated as to changes to their quarantine package. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and well maintained. It is very economically priced and represents good value.
Horrible experience. Stay here for 2 nights. Checked in at 19.00 and at 22.00 the AC started to dripped. Ask to change room but they said it was full. Shower cap was not replaced. had to ask for a new one. Ask for an additional pillow but rejected. Towel was not replaced when tidying up the room. Will definitely avoid this hotel in the future.
We stayed in the Deluxe room, the room was quite big, bathroom is also not bad. Breakfast was not bad. Pool was also quite nice for a city hotel. Location is quite strategic, just on the side of busy Kuta’s road.
Overall services are excellent except for the water. I don't know if it is because of low water quality in the area or there is a problem with the drainage system but sometime it smells bad when taking shower. I can still use soap anyway.
The service here was great. The staff were all so welcoming, friendly and always smiling to us. Hotel room was nice and clean! The breakfast has a wide variety of food to choose from! Would definitely come back here again!!!! So so so happy with our stay here :-))
Prior to my stay, I was worried initially from reading all the bad reviews regarding the noise from the clubs nearby but thankfully, we paid extra for the Deluxe Room and definitely no regrets. The hotel location was ideal and extremely convenient. Its right along Jalan Legian with plenty of shops within walking distance. The room was clean and very spacious. Most of my requests were met specifically the baby cot which was clean too and ready as soon as we got our room. At night, we could barely hear the noise from the clubs nearby and especially with a baby, we actually got a decent sleep throughout our stay. The staffs were always friendly and kind as well.
We had 4 night stay at this hotel. Overall a good hotel. However, this is on the very busy street on Kuta and expect some noise at night from surrounding bars, discos etc. Great service, nice rooms. They have in-house restaurant with name "Rustic". Breakfast is generally included in the room charges. It has buffet style Indonesian and American style breakfast. Lunch and Dinner services are available. Although the food is really good, menu does not have much offerings.
the location really good, because in the middle of kuta street so you can walk around and enjoy the ambience. but because really near the street it's a bit noisy at night, esp in the weekend. the room is quite good and clean, there's cable tv too to enjoy. thanks
the room was very clean and good hospitality. have many choices for the buffet breakfast and the taste is quite good. but for the improvement, harper legian should provide room which can smoke cause for the smoker who stay in harper they don't have to go to the lobby just for smoking. after all, its a recommended hotel.
