When I arrived in Bali for my four month internship in 2014, the De Dukuh crew welcomed me with open arms and immediately made me feel like I was at home. The people have helped me to arrange a motorbike, were always ready to give me advice about the island from a local's perspective and taught me a lot about...

Awesome, no need to say more. Everything the other reviews are telling you is correct. The staff is amazing and helps you with everything,no matter how small the problem. Even if you need something and ask them where to buy it they sometimes bring you there themselves(which has happened to me a couple of times already). Would definitely recommend this...

If I could have given a higher rating, I would've. The rooms are just great and the staff is as well. They'll help you with just about anything. The manager, Ketut, speaks english very well and can help you with things as a Balinese simcard, a rental scooter and various boat trips. The rooms have airconditioning and warm water. There...

Kuta can be a difficult place to find decent accomodation on a budget. The dukuh guesthouse is by far the best stay in this town. The staff is friendly, the pool and rooms are cleaned daily and the beer is cheap!

I live in this homestay every year for a month or two. Nice rooms, and they clean very nice. Pool area also nice! It's close to everything but still hidden so it's not noisy. The staff is absolutely wonderful, you can trust them til 100% and you always feel safe and get all help you need.

Staying at the dukuh was amazing. I found the place thanks to a friend of mine who works in Kuta. During christmas and new years eve Kuta turns in to such a crowde place and sadly enough that makes the hotel prices rise and the number of pickpockets seems to rise double that fast... However!! The Dukuh is a little...

I've got absolutely nothing bad to say about this place! Rooms are in excellent condition, pool is clean, beer is cheap, and the staff is THE BEST staff ever. I stayed in this place for several months because it felt like home. Very safe, good location, fantastic value for money!

De dukuh is great because; its in the centre of kuta, but also nearby the sunset road to reach other places, great owner, cheap drinks, swimming pool, best bed we had in Bali and there are cozy BBQs with all the guests and the owner.
